haha oh no, it was nothing to brag about , when i got it, it had bent konig remembers, no rear seat, no rear carpet, a roll bar, and about 6 empty packs of cigarettes. When i sold it, it was halfway decent, then it some how came back to me with steelies, hood in back seat, blown suspension, more empty cigarette packs, rigged with a push to start button. it was just wasnt the right mk2 for me i guess.

maybe, when i got it there werent any stickers on it anymore and it had a rattle can paint job....the guy i sold it to was getting ready to move back to mexico
See, I have my MkIII, started with aircoolds, went to a MKIV, then a MKI diesel got hit, built a MKII, sold it then a caddy (2nd one, never finished the first one and probably won't finish this one)
Sold my MKIV for a F350, couldn't afford the maintainence or the fuel, so I bought a MKIII.
Still modding but i just can't get it to ft right.
Started with Type III's, had 2 only have pics of one:
Had a MKI Diesel Rabbit, but don't have any pics of it
MKI Caddy project:
Once the caddys done, the MKIII gets sold and I start to build a replica of this:
Sorry for the long post, but everything on the above cars other than the Baja, was all done by myself. Nothing was outsourced other than a few machining steps, and some welding.

I crush you.
Well, not anymore. Bought a house got a new job, and sold it. Then bought a MKIII for MPG.
Also the F350 was a 2003, and next year it would have to smog. I ditched all the emmisions equipment the 3rd week I had it.....
I miss it sometimes. Nothing like 450hp and 600 ft/lbs in a 9000lb 4wd with a max towing weight of 22,000lbs.

But brah, we don't care about towing capactity, and we don't even know how to spell torque. We just care about siiiiiiick rims and bomb-ass body lifts, don't we brah?!
Just kiddin' with ya man, that's a nice-lookin' truck, and I'm diggin' the Type III and MkII. You've had quite the history of rides!
Damn, Pineapple...you are WAY homo for MkIIIs!
I remember when the Jetta GLX came out, wanted one sooooo friggin bad. Old boss at Autotech had a nice one back in the day (Ralph's Flying Pickle with the 6LBEAT8 plates). Chip, cams, exhaust, intake, Quaife...simple and so nice to drive.
Long live the 12V VR.
Sigh...OK, I'm done reminiscing. lol.
