They always do a good job on my wifes car. I took it there once and they were nice, informed, and not too quick to make me think they were 1/2 as$ing it, but not too slow to be anoying.

I am not trying to advertise, Oil does carry full line of Castrol oils, including Slx 505.01

They left the drain plug loose on my dads b6 A4. 2 blocks down the road and oil was everywhere. Almost got a whole new motor out of the deal paid for by oil can henry's but after a full dealer inspection they found nothing to be wrong.

I had a bad experience with them when I took my R32 in. I was there for at least two hours because they took all the oil out of my car and than didn't know how to take my oil filter off. I had to wait for the store manger to come in on his day off because he knew how to do it. I only went there because I had some free oil change coupons that I one at an action. Will never go to a fast lube place again.

Car went there and came back with some issue, can't remember so it couldn't of been that bad.

But none the less, there was an issue with Mr. Henry's Oil Can.

If your in need of an oil change and can't do it yourself go to the dealer.
Some quick lube places are ok, but it's all about the employees.
Most dealerships have more qualified people changing oil.
    And even have competitive pricing
my sister took her 06 Jett to oil can henrys and was charged $90 for a oil change

yah dont let those cute little 1940's outfits fool you.. besides they have a metal border around the ditch they get in, and of course if you have a lip on your bumper, its a no go..
Damn James, 2 hours waiting?? I saw those coupons the fine print read "mk4 R32s can cause a delay in service because the motor is full of win"

I never like going to these places - they always got oil all over the manifold. Not a huge deal, but I like my bays tidy

I have replaced oil pans they damaged.

I have also had to fish out the tube they use to suck the oil out, after they realized they can not operate a drain plug.

    Just don't do it.

only really went there when i had my 4runner but never had any problems. they've got some kids working there, but an oil change is easy enough, and they've got all those monitors so you can watch everything. the free paper is nice too...

i worked for a couple of the shops for a bout a year a few years ago, best oil and quality control in my opinion, i cant say accidents never happened, and the PCV valves might smell like ganja sometimes.... it is a min wage job, dont expect some serious mechanics to be working on your ride...

Common issue with oil change facilities. When they change out your oil, there is a dedicated crew member who removes the transmission, cracks the case and removes key gears. While it may feel like you have no gears when trying to shift, you are in fact, just missing a few.

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?

I remember you from the SE GTG.

    On the topic:

They always over tighten, and/or strip the drain plug.
