    He we are again people!

    Great Lakes GTG 7!

It's Buffalo's DubsintheBuff's turn to host this cool, laid back GTG. This is a great start to kick off the show season as a non-competitive, BBQ and BS sort of day.

Each year the GTG grows, we're hoping to continue the trend and have this be the largest one yet.

One new thing we're going to bring to the table this year is to help others that are less fortunate. It is few and far between that car clubs really give back to the community, so we'd like to take this opportunity to ask for you to support a local non-profit organization, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Niagara. Whether it be $1, $5 or $20...every dollar helps.

    Venue and GTG Sponsor:

    Blackforest Motorsport http://www.blackforestmotorsport.com

    Raffle Info:

Black Forest Motorsport will be giving away a host of raffle prizes, so don’t be afraid to buy tickets. Rest assured that 100% of this money will be going directly to Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Black Forest Motorsport is not being reimbursed for the event space, time spent, or any of the raffle materials. Your entrance donation will score you 1 ticket but like I said above feel free to buy more!

    $1 - 1 ticket
    $5 - 6 tickets
    $10 - 14 tickets
    $20 - 30 tickets

Grand Prize will be a GIAC performance chip/flash with every option loaded.
    Option list:
    · 91/93 octane performance
    · Stock
    · Valet
    · Race
    · Kill
    · Firewall
Note: not all switching options are available for every car
Note: switching can either be performed using GIAC’s hand-held flashloader ($150) or by the GIAC switching software available at no cost on http://www.GIACusa.com (you will need a compatible diagnostic cable and laptop for this)
Estimated value is up to $950
2nd prize: New generation 8GB iPod nano (black) (est value $149)
3rd prize: Complete synthetic oil service (value up to $90) or a GermanAutoParts giftcard for the non-locals
4th prize: NYS inspection (value $21)
Other prizes: Black Forest Motorsport hats, shirts and hoodies (values between $12 and $40) as well as Phatman Boardshops will be pitching in some swag.

Sponsors for our donation Big Brothers Big Sisters:

    12:00pm

    Location:

    Beaver Island State Park

    2136 West Oakfield Road

    Grand Island, NY 14072

    Directions:
-If you are coming here from south of Buffalo (Erie, Cleveland, etc) DO NOT TAKE I-190 that your directions will most likely give you. Pass that and take I-290 as I will give in the following links. You dont have to use that mid-point, thats only if you plan on heading in early and meeting up with the Buffalo crew for the cruise in.
-THERE IS CONSTRUCTION ON THE SOUTH GRAND ISLAND BRIDGE-THERE ARE SIGNS POINTING OUT "BUMPS".
-With that said here are a series of directions for people coming from any of the 3 possible ways in:

    From Rochester/Syracuse/anywhere east of Buffalo:
    From the East

    From Erie/Cleveland/anywhere south of Buffalo:
    From the South

    From Canada:
    From the North

No glass allowed in the park.

Restrooms will be open and available.

*Please note that the venue was not free, please be respectful of the park and keep it clean.

We wanted everyone to have 'smoothish' roads, restrooms and an easy to get to location for the out-of-towners.

For those of you that need to leave for food, etc. There are a handful of places to grab a bite within 5min of the park. Also a grocery store within the same vicinity.

Meetup for locals and early birds:

    Walker Plaza

    5140 Main St
Williamsville, NY 14221

    10:30 am

Get some coffee, wait for the slowpöks and head to the park around 11:15-ish.

For the rest of the people coming in, you can show up whenever you please.

Might get some buddies together on this one. Maybe your cruise can meet part way and we can have a lil convoy going on.

That's what I thought the plan was. Cruise down to a central location and then roll out from there.

for sure, meet up at bayview / shepperd or something with a nice big parking lot and cruise down from there. we'll drive slow so the 2.0's and diesels can keep up

problem with this is that everyone likes to drive at different speeds, and the larger the group sometimes the more problems. everyone remembers the end of month GTG with the civic that resulted in alot of OPP showing up. The drive is under 2 hours so there should only be a need for 1 stop (if that), probably some where in grimsby then onto the boarder DONT FORGET YOUR PASSPORTS also try not to bring too many goodies (alchohol, tobacco) as border patrol might get excited.

Im sure there will be some meets before this larger one to iron out details.
