Hello to all, yes this will be a winter project build , i will post up pics every week with progress on the car, the reason im doing this is because the engine pretty much was losing alot of compression and burning oil so why not build up a fresh vr?

edit* Updated almost a year after car if is finished check out the pictures!

the list goes as shown:
head rebuild
P&P
3 angle valve job
DRC cams
bottom end rebuild
all arp hardware
2.9 manifold clone
mk4 headgasket
everything gastket matched
BFI motor mounts
giac or C2 chip
Clean up bay
maybe wire tuck
fresh paint in engine bay
Coils
ball joints
wheels
brakes
and fixing some rust issues
heres some pictures lol

now i kno its just the begining but i work fast so ill have some more pictures hope you guys like..

Yes, I'm back in Norway. No I don't have time to go to the junkyard and find red 20th seatbelts or other rare **** and send it across the Atlantic ocean to you.

COOLANT ALL WORKS THE GODDAMN SAME!!!!
im so tired of people on a g11/g12/g12+ binge.
it doesnt matter what coolant you run. you just cant MIX them. g12 works, walmart green works, dexcool orange works. as long as your **** aint brown it doesnt matter.

do something with that manifold while it's off the car.
from the looks of it, you sprayed it and the valve cover on the car.

it honestly doesnt do anything. my old vr with an eip chip and no other mods pulled better than a newer one with 10k less miles and a giac chip and legit exhaust

Sweet man. Nice work.
I can't wait for warmer weather to come around so I can get to work on my car. Single digits don't do it for me.

this upcoming week i have off from school so engine bay time it is
enjoy the pics:

The cylinder head is at the machine shop getting a port and polish and rebuild, 3 angle valve job too.. the bottom end im going to rebuild myself with new bearing arp hardware and piston rings.
now my problem is i dont know what color to paint the block i was thinking silver but almost everything already is silver so give me some ideas.
