Sorry to ask but for my lowered Jetta on Longbeaches what size spacers would work best? I want a nice stance and I want to be either flush with fender or a tad beyond flush. Running 225 45 17s w/ Eibach Sportline suspension 1.8inch drop. Also want to avoid rubbing issues. Help I searched but no one has answers to spacer size for lowered 225 45 17s. Thanks.

You might want to go a bit lower before you start spacing. Do you have any pics of the car? Also, I think that 5mm & 15mm spacers wouldn't be bad

a decent stance is 24" ftg, 15mm up front and 20mm rear. of course, you might have to roll your fenders very clean and flush imo.

It seems like a lot of the coilovers have issues with rubbing with stock offsets so you may want to think about doing it all at once instead of installing new coilovers just to find out your stock wheels rube all over the place.

*edit* i suppose if i could read i would have seen hes on springs.

also, there is a thread floating around called "stock wheel stance"or something like that. Lots of q&a about spacers with photos to go along with. should help clear up any questions you have.

Note my car is lowered 1.8 inches w/ Eibach Springs Sportlines and Bilstein sports. Stiff as heck tho =).. I am upset it doesn't look as low as I had hoped. I spent a small fortune on springs/shocks upgrades and other suspension components and end result is just okay. I even got the 225 45s hoping that would get rid of some gap but it's still there. At this point coils are out of the question. I guess I thought Eibach Sportline would lower a lot but it didn't. Hopefully spacers will help. Heres my car as of today. Long story which spacers?

I've seen other Jettas on 17s w/ Eibach Sportline setup that look much lower than my car. What gives? My Bilstein struts don't have anything to do with height right?

      They're not coils.

No, your shocks have nothing to do with it. The issue is these cars have an enormous wheel gap stock and a 1.8in drop isnt going to close that gap much.

Alright, thanks. I'm probably going to have to cut the sway bar out as well, since I don't want to put money into an aftermarket one just yet. I've heard that the sway bar (stock) doesn't make much of a difference whether on the car or not.

Ive heard that as well but dont have any personal experience. Honestly tho if youre not driving the wheels off the car i highly doubt you will notice and huge difference without the sway.

It's an old Dodge dealership. Absolute perfect place for where I want to start my business, but it's in a HORRIBLE location.

Yeah, that was my suspicion. I just guess I'll lower it and see if I hear any grinding noises and go from there
