Thread: Anyone here own a pinball machine?

  1. 01-10-2011 04:08 PM #36
sooo jealous of your haunted house. i WANT that machine eventually...its just too much work to buy a "as-is" and too much to buy fully restored. i need to find one thats like half restored working...haha.

im working on a TX-sector right now. kinda rare. neat machine. trying to talk the guy down.

my super orbit is 99% right now.

Yes and yes to the original topic. Here is my Bride Of Pinbot.
I also have a few 80's era arcade games too. In regards to some of the $4000+ pins, I think there is little too much hype. Medieval Madness, Twilight Zone, Addams Family, etc. They are great pins but overpriced in my opinion. Someone mentioned Fish Tales. Great pin and generally priced more in line with what it's worth generally.

My father-in-law received a Captain Fantastic pinball machine as payment for painting someone's car probably 30 years ago

My husband also has Max RPM, a sit down version of Spyhunter (possibly for sale soon), and we just brought home a fully functional (free) 1964 United Shufflebowl

He has been looking for a Bally Nitro Groundshaker, but they are kind of hard to find and usually $$$.

wow, lots of older machines. im more of a 90's machine fan. thats when pinball technology peaked and had the most toys.

those home machines weird me out without a coin door, but that still very cool. id def take a pinball for payment....as long as it worked haha!

    cool!
