The rear window / pillar line is a bit wonky... otherwise, I'd hit it.

Looks pretty neat, but I don't think it's really necessary in North America, particularly with the new "world" Kuga/Escape on the way soon.

nah, I'd take the Sandero or CrossFox or something if I lived in Latin America, this thing is a little too "edgy" for me. I feel like it should come with a trunkfull of Mountain Dew and these dudes at the wheel:

I imagine this is a size class smaller. That said, no, it would be unnecessary in the northern 67% of North America

Yeah, I realize it's smaller, which is all the more reason as to why it would be pointless here. I don't think many people here would want something that much smaller than an Escape/Kuga.

Anything with 'eco' in it gets a fat veto from me.

      Indeedy.

What happened to the ONE FORD? It's not like the one on the left is hideous or too euro. It actually is cohesive with the smaller sister cars, so wouldn't that make more sense to keep it?

I totally disagree, actually. I think B-segment crossovers are a great idea - every B-segment car sold in the US is a sedan or a hatch. The sedans sell well, but the hatches are variable depending on energy prices. I think a lot of people would find a Fiesta-based (or Aveo-based, or Polo-based) crossover to be a more compelling idea than a hatch. You could easily snag some greenie outdoorsy types, and the Ecosport as it is already gets 35mpg. It'd get me to consider the B-segment more seriously, that's for sure.

To answer the question if the Ecosport would do well here, how well does the Subie Impreza Outback and Suzuki SX4 sell? I see lots of both of those up here.

It makes sense to me. My GF will be in the market for a small versatile car that gets decent mileage. She will be shopping price more than content it's possible if this were available she would be looking at it as well as the Fiesta and the Escape.

Throw in an affordable AWD option + a Manual Transmission and it'll be on the very very short list.

I agree on the c pillar comments. It looks a little awkward there where the Escape looks really nice....

      2 different cars

The left one is rendering of B-Max (replaces the European Fusion), using a Ford Kuga photochop.

The right one is rendering of Ecosport, using a Fiesta photo.

Both are just chops so don't expect the real thing to look like this exactly.

Here is another rendering of B-Max
