To be fair, though, the Graham and its Hupp Skylark counterpart did have a different engine, transmission and even drivewheels than the Cord.

And how could anyone forget about the Sterling 825? A Honda Legend made unreliable:

You failed on 2 out of 3 criteria for this thread. I suggest you look up the definition of "obscure" and "rebadge". You got the "car" part right...

The Dacia 2000 was a re-badge of the Renault 20 that only the high ranking Romanian Communist Party officials drove. Only a few hundred were produced:

Alfa Romeo ARNA. A real low point for Alfa when they rebadged a Nissan Cherry for an entry level model. Major failure.

Not really a rebadge, it was a joint project engineered by the two companies - it has the Alfa Romeo flat-4 engine, Alfa transmission and Alfa front suspension, in the Nissan bodyshell.

And he did a wonderful job of applying that badge to the engine cover.

The Opel / Vauxhall Sintra , a version of the Chevrolet Venture. This car failed miserably in Europe

Innocenti rebadged the dreadful Yugo Koral for the Italian market , why?

The Dacia Logan Pick up is also sold as the the Nissan NP200

      freightleiner, sprinter, etc

Not really that obscure, people know about it.
      This is though:
Romanians re-badged a MAN truck by adding RO to it for the domestic market, even kept the same font:

As this thread goes on, I'm seeing a lot of rebadges yes, but not a lot of obscure ones.

Sprinters have been sold as rebadges since 2001.
Pontiac getting a rebadged Cobalt. What a surprise.
      Hondas rebadges as Acuras? Shocking.
      etc.
      Rebadges, yes, obscure, no.
Now unrelated automakers that are totally different with a brief partnership (e.g.: the original Honda-BL thing in the first post), yeah that's obscure.

That is the VW Caddy which is a major model, been around on it's own since before VW bought Skoda, and it's based on he Polo IIRC... i'd say the Skoda is a rebadge if anything... (I've never seen one).
Also, Nissan Quest/Mercury Villager? Really? Obscure?

Someone should price these front ends out in Europe and sell them as conversions in the US. Hell, the Dodge --> Mercedes conversions sell well (and yes, they're much less involved ).

This is a Skoda Felicia Utility

Which was rebadged as a VW Caddy Puckup from 1996 to 1999. It's called Type 9U

Meanwhile, VW sold a Polo panel van by the name of "VW Caddy" as well from 1996 to 2005. It's called Type 9K

2 completely different VW Caddy for sale in Europe from 1996-1999. The pickup one is a rebadged Skoda Felicia. The van one is not.
