Anyone going to be at the PAP North on Sat? I started to go this morning to snag a transmission but it started raining when I was half way there, Ill be there on saturday if anyone has no plans I could probably use an extra pair of hands

There are a couple junk yards up on US 441 almost to Commerce. I'm not sure if they are of the 'pull a part' variety or if they even have VWs there, but they certainly have a bunch of stuff. I'm always looking for ways to not drive from Athens to Duluth. I can't stand 316...

Anybody want to do a PAP run this upcoming weekend? There are a couple of Fords I want to look at there, they have a couple of Foxes, MkII's and III's and Passats as well. Its supposed to be a balmy 47 degrees.

Went to the Doc this morning and got a Huge Bag of Med's If they work as well as he said they would I should be down for a PAP run. Hopefully they still have some parts left on that 5spd Fox I saw last Time

Also, if you know anyone with a Phaeton, Tiguan, Touareg, or CC ask them to register, we've never had any of those models on the field for a show, and this is the year for us to shine!

And, as always, there's the epic afterparty at Houck's house in Greenville to wrap up the day with beer pong and general debauchery late into the night. Anyone that's been to the show and afterparty before can well attest to what kind of party the Syndicate can throw.

For anyone new to the show, it's limited to right around 500 cars total, all European (last year we had to admit Crossfires because of their MB lineage... don't ask me what that's about). Cars are judged by the people registered in the show only. There is no panel of judges, only your peers and yourself to vote on who wins. Feel free to bring coolers of your favorite beverages (we're alcohol friendly), and there will be vendors and sponsors on site (GMP in Charlotte is a vendor this year and I'll have updates on vendors as that info comes in). There is a food tent (Brats, Burgers and Beer!) and beer sales, too.

I also know we have a 2011 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG registered. Maybe we can talk them into coming to Houck's afterparty....
