      He is correct.
The show must go on. Rain or shine.

      !!!!!!!!!!!!!!ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are officially OUT for BAP.
Andrea broke her ankle (pictures on FB) and it is rather bad. She has an appointment Friday AM anyway which screws up our plans.
Also, the rain looks to be a major PITA.
One day I could handle. Both and it's a bummer.

Oh well. I will still have Thursday, Friday, Monday & Tuesday off which I will need to take care of Andrea.
Also, I will be in town to get my new phone on Sunday.

If enough of us stay in town, maybe we could still get together Saturday night at the Cracker Barrel in Athens. Just an idea.

      Page 94 is MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Much like the show, the caravan is still going down. Looks like Summer and I might be stopping off at Oasis Car Wash on Old Norcross before meeting up at Discover Mills, all depends on how the weather is down here before heading out for the caravan.

Who all is joining us at Discover Mills?

      OUCH!

Sucks that it throws a wrench into the BAP plans, but it happens. I still don't know if I'm gonna have my headliner installed as of right now!

      Awesome!

Getting the replacement catalytic converter installed today, hopefully getting the headliner installed today as well.

Talked to Mav earlier, I'll be picking up the tent from him early tomorrow so we'll have it for the show.

Took my headlights out today, after a little wetsanding and polishing they came out really well.

      Before:

      After:

After putting in the work to polish them I found out the horizontal adjuster was broken on the passenger side, luckily its right where it needs to be so they will do for now until I have the money for new lights.

They look great in person, see everyone Saturday!

Brian, hate that you guys cant make it Won't be the same without you. Tell Andrea that I hope she feels better soon!

Stephen, those headlights look KILLER! Can't wait to see them in person.

As far as BAP plans, I have to wash the car and pack things up. We probably won't head out with the caravan, just cause it's simply too early to get up there. Especially because I won't be able to go to many of the GTG's because money is tight as it is. I'll have to pack up some food, thankfully the hotel has a refrigerator! Looking forward to it though!!!

Here are some photos from this year's Bug-A-Palüza 14 Show. I have a bunch more on Flickr. Hope to take some more today if it warms up and the wind dies down.

It really is awesome. Tons of cool people, lots of sweet Dubs. It was my 2nd year, as well as Michelle's. My friend Summer came up and went for her first show. As for the awards, I scored awesome points with my factory grill and won first place for the stock category!

Battery light came on today. Now looking at it having to get a new alternator according to the Mav and Madman.

Indy can make a full trip up to Chattanooga for Bug-A-Palüza, but can't go from the apartment to the house without a MIL...

Had a blast this weekend in Tenn, there were some sharp looking cars out there at the show. Congrats to Matt and Michelle on the trophy's!

Pulling my exhaust manifold today, either one of the gaskets is blown out or the manifolds cracked somewhere. Whichever it is I hope to fix that pesky leak and end the noise! Should be an interesting day.

*Got the manifold off and it was leaking from welds on the flange on cylinders 1 and 4, took it to my managers house and he welded them up for me. Looks leak free, can't wait to put it on!

Test drove some new VW's today, can't decide whether to put my hard earned money into the Golf or a new car...the Jetta TDI is a nice ride, esp with the 6spd manual.

      Decisions, decisions...

      Sweet.
We can always use more MKIIs in the group.

      Looking forward to the GtG.

Also looking forward to SoWo. Looks like this year is going to be out in the "over flow" lot that was used last year.

Info has been posted up on SoWo's site.

Here's a layout of the grounds for this year:

I think we should set up somewhere towards the main road early Saturday so we can get the tent and chairs in place. Mav, if you have stakes for the tent that'd be great.

Registration is also up and ready for SoWo.

Since you will be there Friday, I can give you the tent.
The tricky part will be for you to save us the correct number of car spaces so we can all hang together.
We will get a final car count at the GTG so we will all be prepared.
      Thoughts?

I had a feeling I'd be providing transportation for the tent - again

Getting an estimate for the SoWo GTG does sound like a good idea. I hope we can set up so we take the last few spaces on either side of a row so we can set up the tent & chairs in the middle.

Like if only six of us can make it, then we can have three on each side with the tent set up in between.

      I hope that makes sense.

I am picking up what you are laying down.
