This picture really does show how VWs have grown in size over the years.

It also validates that old Volkswagens don't get slow, they just go low.

Also makes me appreciate some of the "simplicity" of the Mk3.

Know of any good interior shops in or around Athens? I have a headliner that is falling because of the heat and riding with windows down all the time time. I got a quote from a guy up here in Habersham for bout 300-400 dollars and thats with some stuff that's not an exact match to the factory.

Got an 2001.5 B5.5 with tan interior

It'd be cheaper just to do it yourself. Find a fabric ya like and let us know. I did that to mine...and it wasn't sagging! lol Just dirty and was tired of looking at it.

I will see what I can do bout the g2g, I have been out of doing anything to my car since my last one that I totaled. Been finding other things to spend money () on and trying to get out of the passat into a T-reg.

My headliner has been like this for bout 2 years but now it's starting to come down all around the edges so I figure it's bout its time.

Got the latest issue of "eurotuner" (06/12) in the mail last week, started reading it today and found out that THIS IS THE LAST ISSUE.
They will be online only.

They may end up combining with European Car but that is down the road.

Bummer.

Yup ToD was fantastic! Great showing too! Can't wait to do it again. Although I kinda need to fix my caliper issue before I do that again. Speaking of which, anyone have any old/spare rear brake pads for a 2.0 or TDI? Mine is down to nothing at this point and I'm still waiting on my calipers to come back so I can just replace them. SO in the meantime, so my wheel doesn't LOCK UP, I need some old pads that have a little bit of life left just to get me by. Lemme know!
