Also, I picked up Sufjan Stevens - Age of Adz, Owen Pallett - A Swedish Love Story EP, and Pinback - Autumn of the Seraphs today as well.

Nice, how much were the Expedit storage boxes? I though about grabbing a couple but decided against it.

20 bucks (cdn) for the boxes. I would probably recommend spending a little more and get the deep drawers (30 cdn), though they don't fit records:

Good for your stereo unsightlies though!

What do you think of the new album? I'm still not sold on it. I like the earlier stuff. And Pink Mountaintops as well. But that new album sounds a little too 'classic rock' for me.

The reissue will be presented on double 180-gram audiophile-grade vinyl in a hefty gatefold jacket with a giant full-color photo collage, in-depth liner notes, and lyrics sheet, PLUS four rare bonus tracks, also never before available on high quality vinyl. Starting today, you'll be able to pre-order the double LP, by itself or as part of a special package with a limited-edition t-shirt. We also have a VERY limited package that includes the original tour poster from The Dismemberment Plan's 2002 tour with Death Cab for Cutie, dubbed the Death and Dismemberment Tour. Only 20 of these posters are left, so get yours while you can!

I REALLY wanted to see The Dismemberment Plan play but all of the local shows sold out within a few minutes. Tickets are going for like $100 a piece on ebay now.

I picked up a few new items tonight. (crappy cell pics on the way)

      LCD Soundsystem - Tribulations 12"

The Black Keys - Attack and Release I had originally received a burned copy from a friend so it iss nice to have a CD and audiophile grade vinyl

The Greenhornes - ★★★★ I am a big fan of these guys: also the dummer and bass player are in The Raconteurs and the bass player is also in The Dead Weather

This a limited pressing in one of four colors (mine is blue obviously) and comtians liner notes from director Jim Jarmusch.

I've bought a ton of new vinyl since I've been on here last, but perhaps the most interesting (to me at least) is the Sharon Jones & Dap Kings box set of 7's...

And here's the purchases from a recent trip down to Seattle in its entirety...

Other important (to me) albums picked up more recently:

How to Dress Well - Love Remains
      Girls - Broken Hearts Club
      Perfume Genius - Learning
      Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures

      and many more

^ Is that Strawberry Jam next to Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings?

I think the last thing I bought on wax was In Rainbows a couple weeks ago. I bought the new Kanye West on CD yesterday. I sold it today and bought Funeral instead.

      P.S. to Pleasures.

It is! I've been keeping an eye out for it forever, found it easily in Seattle, then came home to find it in my local record shop too. Figures.

I bought about 150 new records in 2010, my goal is to half that for 2011, because I can't afford to keep it up.

I ended up going back today because I regretted not buying these two things.

-The Decemberists January Hymn 7" b/w Row Jimmy (Grateful Dead cover)
-LCD Soundsystem This Is Happening 180 gram

I already own that on CD because the vinyl release was delayed. The first track I really wanted on vinyl because it would be a great way to start off my DJ set.
