I was wondering if you had tires here? I thought I saw some in the videos, but I dont remember. Anywho, I am looking to pick one up and was wondering what a good weight would be? My roommate thinks 200LBs would be good, but I think that is too light. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
If it matters, my work set on deads in 340.

yeah we've got a few. If you dead in the mid 3s a 200lb tire will be a joke for you. You need something up around 5.

We just added a kick boxing class. It's more of a "Cardio kickboxing" thing, but people go nuts over it. It's in its third week and we're already averaging 18-20 people per class.

Not that it's not strong, just that I prefer to see the lockout.

      Also...
Apparently we might get kicked out of our space, so there's suddenly been talk of the gym getting it's own place. We've got a pro bodybuilder, a guy who works with college s&c, a former semi-pro football player, etc. On the other hand, we don't have anyone with a CSCS or heaven forbid, a Crossfit cert. As a general use gym, it probably wouldn't matter, but what if we wanted to have bootcamp or classes? Will people care?

Probably not. As long as people seem to know what they're doing and are high energy people will eat that **** up. We make a ton of $$$ with the bootcamps.

I just hurt my back watching that video..

Oh, Ive done wide grip pullups for reps full range with two 45's hanging between my legs.

Looks like a really sweet facility though.

It wasn't the cleanest pull, but hey it happens on a max attempt. She has some pretty bad upper back rounding issues that I've been working with her on. She has some postural problems that need to be corrected.

What's the difference between a jerk and a press?
