Well my car has been through alot this past year and I figure it'll be appropriate to have a build thread for the things to come.

    A short time-line :

    Day she was bought 07/03/2008

Installed the VF Stage 2 supercharger

June 5th came along and some drugged out lady chased me down on 95 and rammed my car multiple times for no reason whatsoever. I got both cars to a stop (her still trying to push my car), got out, broke her window with my fist to stop her car, and grabbed her keys. Fun day

    Hatch and bumper damage:

Went to a very reputable body shop and the fabricated a mild boser, shaved my hatch, and I ordered front and rear OEM Euro bumpers from TMTuning.com, which they painted. I also installed my Helix reps and ST coilovers after that.

Note that the whole rear end is sealed to prevent rust behind the bumper

I didn't like how the rears didn't go low enough so I picked up some FK rear springs found on all higher-end FK coilovers

    __________________________________________________ ________________

That brings us up-to-date with the progress. For the winter, I picked up these:

and will be picking up this:

and turning my interior into something that looks similar to this, minus the center console being done.

With all this extra work the Borbets have to go and when Ryan can hurry his ass up with re-polishing these, I can go pick them up! Just kidding buddy, take your time, they won't see pavement till it's 60 degrees out lol

As far as that goes, I'll keep you guys updated with pics on the install of everything. I'll also be cleaning up the bay a little but nothing drastic until next winter

    Eric

It's still up in the air. Depends on how well the wheels fit in the front since they do poke and I do like driving low...not looking forward to messing up fenders

I am too. I would have missed it way too much if I did and that would be a huge regret in my life. She's not going anywhere for a long time

Bolan- you'll have them soon enough bud

How are you liking the super charger. I really want to get one but I am a little torn because it seems a lot of people don't like it. I am not looking for crazy horse power. Just more than what I have now with little to no issues and stock like feel. Oh and those DPE wheels are dope.

Thank you I love the s/c even though people are always saying to go turbo. When I was purchasing it, I wanted something reliable since I daily my car and this was perfect for it. The power output is satisfactory for anyone who wants a quick car. It's not super fast or anything like a turbo, but it went neck and neck with my friend's 300rwhp NA track M3. I like it and plus with the straight cut gears, it definitely turns heads when pulling into shows

I might change out the pulley and go with the Unitronic tune with a maf-less setup. Although it's not recommended to change the pulley out, if I did, it would be a slight difference like the 2.75" because I think the s/c can handle it due to the straight cut gears

    Great thread

Wondering about the rear end seal. Did you do that yourself or do our R's come from the factory like that?

No, they aren't fully painted, IIRC. If you take off the rear, it should look like a bunch of overspray.

Nah I'm happy with it. It was some beat blazer anyway and there was heavy traffic, otherwise I would have been gone without even trying

I hear ya. It's tough to drive around with a sane piece of mind in NE with coils that are low. You could go with a basic management setup that shouldn't break the bank. Have you checked in the air suspension forum to see if anyone is selling anything?

    A little update tonight:

Picked up an ECS Dogbone mount since mine was absolutely shot. I could feel the horrible slack in the tranny when accelerating letting off the gas. I installed the new one and it's a night and day difference. I can't wait to see what the VF mounts are going to do. Vibration right now is minimal but noticeable if you're trying to feel it.
