True story. Glad he got out of his glitter phase. I gotta find the old pictures..

While I don't consider myself a huge hardcore fan, I occasionally rock out to some older Hatebreed. Altho recently I discovered Defeater and feel like I've been missing out

It fell very much into the good, not great category for me...the sound sucked, for sure. NMB didnt seem to have the same energy they usually do. Jason was just kinda there. It was allright, I guess. DEfinitely have seen better shows from them.

agreed. but, jason could record himself farting into a tin can and i'd buy it. that guy is punk's king midas... kid dynamite, nmb, his solo onguard stuff, and lagrecia. i fully admit to my man-crush!

I really liked LaGrecia , and was glad I got to see them during their short run.
I just hope he keeps his **** together this time... he jumps around so much, and tends to make an ass out of himself and come off like a real douche in the process.

Bound, a band he was in before Kid Dynamite, covered King of Pain. If you love Jay you need to heart it. Your mancrush will re-double.

Finally a good HXC thread not filled with crap. I have been listening to hardcore since the late eighty's. Here is my most prized piece of merch.
1 of 5, bought it off Toby from H2o about twelve years ago.

I will post some more later.

Saw H20 and Cro-Mags tonight. I never get sick of seeing H20! Great everytime. Not a big fan of Cro-Mags. I hadn't been to Chain when it's been that crowded in a long time. Some scary looking dudes there with face tattoos.

Don't be too bummed out. I watched two of their songs for the hell of it and then left. Not really a fan.

I saw 7 Seconds a few days ago at SXSW. Definitely awesome. In the other room was Rival Schools. That was great as well.

I missed Rival Schools playing locally two weeks ago. In fact, I've missed every opportunity to see GB, Quicksand, Rival Schools and just Walter playing solo. I might as well put getting in the same room with him in my bucket list.
