brand new set of ie rods for aba 16v. these are stock aba length but with the small wrist pin to use any 9a style piston. i mounted 3 pistons on the rods but never ended using them in a motor. asking 350 plus shipping obo.

here it is a cheap entry into drag racing. car is in pittsburgh pa area.
mods are:

1998 VR6 AAA
MK4 headgasket,ported exhaust manifolds,welded/ported down pipe.,C2 race file ram air intake(not pictured) thats it engine wise. new water pump,all new timing chains/tesioners/guides.
ticks a bit an SOMETIMES a little smoke when idling but clears up after a rev. motor had 69782 miles but sat in my garage for about 8 years before i decided to use it.
has a 1 gallon fuel cell and a bosch 044 fuel pump. solid front core support and motor mounts. trans mount a rubber corrado one.
comes with spare ECU and MAF.

trans.
just the stock 98 VR6 one. lightned flywheel stock new sachs clutch.
empi axles. comes with a spare set of new empi's also.

body is gutted an sound material scraped out inside. hatch is gutted. doors are not. hood is trimed of supports. passenger door and fender crappy. the actual shell is solid! a bit of surface rust spots that are sandable at the best and a dent or two but very solid! welded strut towers an removed rain gutter. tons of room for a big turbo!
has new lexan windshield. all glass elsewere. stock GTI seat for now but includes a plastic racing bucket.

suspension wise it is all poly. control arms,rear axle bushings,rear strut mounts.
front struts stock with cheap ebay coil overs. 400# springs,
rear struts koni yellows with 700# springs.
set of "great plates" on rear beam. increased wheel base a bit.

set a newer M&H slick 23x8x13 on new rota wheels(not pictured)
car+slicks+ a tow dolly come take it away $2500 negotiable.

A1000 is currently ~$325 new, fittings are about ~$40, and bushing/mount kit ~$30 bucks

$500 for this friggen shell no kirkey seat no fuel cell not going to get any cheaper then this. Cage work alone was nearly 4 times my asking price hell the cert was $150 lol. I have no interest in this car sitting in my driveway for the rest of the summer so the next step ill me collecting the $200 worth of scrap metal so someone come get it.
