      i'm just wondering if its illegal to drive without side mirrors in florida? Would a Broadway mirror make a difference?

      It's not illegal. It is, however, kinda dumb.

      Mirrors: Your car must have at least one rearview mirror which gives a view of the highway at least 200 feet to the rear.

      a standard windshield mounted rearview mirrow would be just fine

      It is allowed. However, if you run no side mirrors then you cannot run tinted windows.

      no inspection in florida...therefor not illegal

      Huh? If the OP gets a ticket it'll be from a cop. It's in the Florida motor vehicle code, & a fineable offense.
