A full year old thread, but a good one nonetheless!

      Let's see some more!

This was with about an inch of threads left and helpers still in. Tires resting snuggly on the liners. I don't know what the fender-to-ground measurement was but the tire size was 215/40/18 on 8.5" wheel.

yeah, the very early FK's allowed for an extreme drop with the helpers still in.
jay had them on his white rabbit and we could never figure out why he was able to get so low with the helpers still in
we finally figured out his kit was one of the first sets made
This explains alot, The white rabbit @22 with helpers in, and I'm at 23 with helpers out, un C-notched.

Helpers are there to simply "fudge" TUV approval, and make it unable to lower the car more than "TUV legal". Take them out and it's another story.

originally just under 23", raised it to 11 threads or so from 8 to give me some extra room. looked like this after lifting it.

      215/35r19 tires on a 19x9et37

right now im measuring in at 23" even at all 4 corners, but im on my stock steelies till weather is consistantly nice. i do believe my audi wheels with tires have a smaller overall diameter so i may be lower once they are installed.

you guys are crazy that drive any lower than that static. ive been destroying my axle lately, going to get notched tomorrow. and my new ebay lip is taking a beating. new england is not low friendly.
