Wasn't someone looking for this exact car (red '84 Wolfie) awhile back? Seems to me he found something pretty close and bought it but....Good luck with the sale! If it was a Titian Red '85 I'd be having a hard time not coming to Georgia.

Also, do you think the car is in good enough shape to make the trip from Georgia to New York?

I was the guy looking for the Marz Red '84 Wolfsburg Edition. I found the exact car I was looking for, 1 owner, 89,000 miles on it. Overall I got a solid car, but it needed a head gasket, water pump, and all engine seals. I have been slowly working on it. Since I purchased it back in October, I've only put 12 miles on it. Ugh....I can't wait to REALLY drive it...Although, if the car listed in this add were nicer...I might pick it up, too. PICS?

he's got it on CL now.http://atlanta.craigslist.org/....html
looks like a real nice car.

Yep, looks JUST like my car. Exactly what I spent 11 years looking for. BUT....I cannot justify spending $3,500 for another one since I already have one. I just with mine had the power windows and locks. My original one back in the 90's was identical to that car, but also had sunroof.

i used to have an '83 mars red Wolfsburg, man i forgot how much i liked mars red on these cars. my '85 is black, can't go wrong with that color either. but the mars red is such a classic 80's vdub color. if i had funds/space it would be hard to pass one like this up.

i have had my eye on an all original '84 with very low miles that i was going to beg the owner to sell me this spring. if he ends up caving, i'll let you know and you can have 1st refusal on my '85.

How much you want?? if it works out with a deal for the '84 and i have to sell the '85, my asking price would be about $3500. it's a no rust, low miles (100k), always garaged summer car similar to Gary Gelb's here so i feel like it's a fair price. but of course that's if i decide to sell it.
