Not discrediting the Lions season. But the Bears arent a great measuring stick.

I said it was nice to see the team competitive. They've won 5 games against teams that aren't likely to make the playoffs. In their first 10 games, only San Francisco is likely to make the playoffs and the NFC-West has been weak for years. They have 2 Green Bay games, Saints, and Chargers. Detroit could easily win 10 games and be a wild card team.

Edit to add. I think the Lions pretty much ended the Bears season last night, having said that I would love to see the Lions make some noise this year.

Johnson is just a freakin animal. They are fun to watch.

Can you trade for 5 new offensive lineman during the season

Add to that; Get rid of Lovie and Jerry and start running some current strategies and I'll buy in.

They still need a Star reciever. Hester is dangerous but he isnt the guy you can count on when the game is on the line.

Isnt the old saying Cornerbacks are wide recievers that cant catch? Wasnt he a corner in College?

Can you imagine trying to learn the WR position in the NFL under Mike Martz system?

Angelos solution to the recieving problem was to get rid of a decent target in Olsen and bring in stone hands williams.

Cutler is fighting for his life on every snap.

SF wasn't nearly as sloppy as we were. also, both coaches need to start acting like this is a proffesional sport, Harbaugh was dancing around like he just won the super bowl, and schwartz needs to get control of his erratic temper

I hope nothing comes of that...I thought it was a non issue, no punches thrown leave it alone.

      I don't know .... 15 penalties for 120 yards is pretty sloppy.

There were some points scored, but that was a pretty solid defensive game from both teams. Fun to watch.
Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?
