So my exhaust has been louder than usual today. Thinking it was just a leaky exhaust I kept driving, until the sound became unbearable today and my CEL came on during my drive back from Findlay. When I got home, I checked under the car to find my catalytic converter hanging there. Looks like the bolts gave way. Gotta get it fixed tomorrow.

well from what it looks like ill probably be getting my insurance check from my car, and using a bit of it to put power steering back on the coupe, (since with my shoulder i cant drive it without p.s) and doing the exhaust and haver on the road. till everything else settles and i can buy a new car

i got a 1984 scirocco. Gutted only thing in the car is dash center console headliner driver seat and passenger seat.

well im so glad that childers limosine service has decided to dispute who is at fault in my accident with them, so as of now i have recieved no information as to what im going to be paid for my car, and so im stuck with a totalled car that i have no money for, guess the coupe needs to get out on the road

I haven't decided what I'm gonna do with her yet. I'd like to garage the jetta for the winter, but then again I could use the cash, so I might be forced to sell. If I do, I'll be sure to let you know.

I live in Whitehouse, one guy lives in P-burg, one in West Bloomfield, another in Flat Rock... could do a P-burg gathering, then meet the other guys in Detroit. But the MIVE guys are meeting further west of Detroit and have a small cruise around and then heading in as a group.

Well guys, I'm out on the prowl for a new vehicle to replace the Golf. Trying to stay with either VW or Audi, preferably an A4. I found a 2000 a4 for 6k with 122k miles, and body looks solid. I still have to check it out, but what should I look for with an Audi? Are they bad with rust, engine, suspension, I don't want to go into this blind. So any help will be welcomed.

Also, if anyone knows of an A4 for sale, preferably manual, lemme know.

The car has an expected delivery date of Saturday. But I'm still hopeful for a Friday delivery. So I'm tentative at this point. If it comes Saturday, I would still like to come up but it will obviously be on my own time.

dude, don't worry about what car you have to drive up in. Hell, I'll probably be in my dirty ass bone stock passat wagon, and we keep the speeds of the rallies to the speed limit. These are cruises/caravans, not races, so the rabbit might do just fine. What we're trying to get folks to realize is that these rallies and shows are about so much more than just having a nice car that you can show off. They're about the people, hanging out with new and old friends, bs'in with like minded folks and overall just having a good/chill time. The show is just gravy.
