Update!
Looks like the last thing I did on here was the VW center caps. Since then, not much has happened. I started a new job and that has been going great. Just keeping it clean has been the only priority. Once day at work, we threw it up on the lift and saw that the Neuspeed Sport Springs were almost fully compressed just sitting there. So, the decision was made to start looking for a new suspension option. Went to the classifieds and found a set of Koni coilovers for a good price and fairly local and jumped at it. I wasn't going to announce the coilovers until H2O, but when I saw it last night, I was too excited.
The cell phone picture is the only shot I have for now. If you want to see more, you'll have to wait for H2O!
I'm at 15 threads left in the back and 24 threads left in the front. The front tires are most definitely rubbing!
I have also got a few small odds and ends for the roof rack (replacing broken plastic pieces) to clean it up. That is it for now. The next update will be revealed at H2O.

Wow, it has been a long time since I have updated here. Since the last post not much has happened. Went to H2Oi with a different setup. Painted my steelies a grey metallic and put on Portawalls for an "old school" look.
It did catch the eyes of one of the EuroTuner photographers...
Then, I fine tuned the Koni's with the Miro's on and put yellow LaminX on the fogs.
Went to Fall Show 'n Go and was really shocked (and tipsy) to grab second place.
I got an ECS Tuning trunk lip, painted it, and it really cleaned up the rear.
The Toys for Tots cruise near Harrisburg was the last shot of the car before winter. I don't have any pictures of it, but by this point, I had installed a 3" APR RSC down pipe.
I then had a dead spell for a while. Partly because I promised the wife that I wouldn't buy anything. I did really well, until ECS Tuning posted their scrat and dent special on Euro LED tails. So I snagged a set. Enabled amber mode and rear fog.
Then one day, I stopped for gas, and I went from this...
...to this...
So, I figured I would just go raw.
That's it for now. Will be receiving slotted and dimpled Adams Rotors from DBC Performance and a 2.5" AWE Tuning cat back exhaust either this week or next.

@ WallyGTI
Thanks man! Been a busy year and a labor of love...who am I kidding. Been a lot of getting yelled at by the wife!
@ danielstdi
Thanks! This is a question I get all the time. I have tried looking in the past and you can only get those inserts with the bumper. You cannot buy them separately.
@ PSU
Andy, I think I know a guy that likes to take pictures that owes me a couple shots.
@ tony magnolia
Thanks for actually calling it Buddy Christ. Everyone just says, "oh, you have Jesus on your dash" and looks at me like I'm a religious nut. Haha.

Got my Adam's Rotors unexpectantly from DBC Performance yesterday. So I stayed after work and threw them on. Zinc coated, slotted and dimpled all the way around. Using OEM pads because I can get them for a low price at work (which is good since I'm be using more of them).

That it is...I just have to wait, which is hard.
Oh I will...can't wait. And yes it is
Haha...nice. I think I have seen it around. I am home with back problems today. I have only met a few people from Hellertown on here. If you ever need anything (VAG-COM, parts, etc) feel free to contact me.

Hey man thanks! I live near cedar crest hospital, in hellertown for work. My mechanic has accounts with most of the aftermarket companies so I usually source through him in New Tripoli, same for OEM too, he used to work for Faulkner Ciocca. Hope the back feels better bro, it's Friday! Ps congrats on the new little one!
Looking forward to seeing the direction you go, and hope to see yu around the roads!

I'm guessing Chris Birgel at CB Tuning? I talk to him from time to time. Just ordered an intake for my brother-in-law's Subaru. He orders a lot of OEM parts from us. I will be getting Unitronic stage 2 from him in March.
I don't have too much planned for this show season...just wheels really.
#90
Yup, that's him. I'm hoping to go big turbo this summer or next, piecing together the needed parts a little more slowly than I want, but it's no cheap bolt on hp gain. And I love my stage 2 uni software.. Pulls in almost every gear, hard to keep from speeding yet I still average 23-28 mpg as my daily!

fan i like your front end you may have said it already but where can i get me one of those? looks like a eve front end lol![]()
#92
Thanks yo. You can get it through VW and ECS, just two of the places I know. Very pricey though. My car came with the bumper so I lucked out.
#95
So, work today was very slow and one of my friends is one of my technicians. So, I told him I'd give him some beer and lunch if he wanted to put my AWE cbe on. So he did. Let me just say that I love how it sounds. Good tone and not very loud at normal driving and cruise control highway driving. I have this mated to a 3" APR downpipe. Now, when I get on it, about 4,000-4,500 RPMs, it then opens up and gets loud. But how often do I do that?! I will post up pictures and a video by the end of the week.![]()

Also, got these in the mail today:
Stainless steel brake lines with a red cover from USP Motorsports. Not sure when they're going on but I just wanted to update.
---
Now, here's an update. I now have a decent size hole in my front bumper due to ice/snow/being low/being dumb and am looking to either repair the bumper, or replace. I really want to put an .:R32 front bumper on, but I want to keep my fog lights without having to make grilles. I don't want to blend in with a GLI bumper, so I am thinking Wolfsburg front with R-line fogs, and shaved side markers and "headlight washer" moldings. Any thoughts? Also, any offers would be great.
#97
Here is a picture of the hole and crack in the front:
Possibly fixable, but I am taking this as a reason to go a different direction:
Shaving the moldings above the fog light grilles and shaving the side markers. Then matte black grille, R-line fogs, and Votex lip. All before April!
#98
Here we go.
scuffed the whole bumper up the other day and prepped everything. Got some metal mesh to fill in the holes in the bumper. Put the first section of fiberglass on tonight. Didn't want to do any more until after I see how this settles tomorrow.

Well, it looks like I haven't messed anything up yet.
Sanded the one side...
...added more to smooth it...
...and filled in the other side.
Still debating on how to shave the side markers.
#103
I installed my new(ish) dash cubby. Not as big of a pain to install as everyone said it would be.
