Thanks to PSU for lending me a pair or H&R 10mm spacers and bolts over the weekend. I threw them on on Tuesday. I tested one in the front and yeah, that's not going to happen. But in the rear, 10mm looks like will be my limit. So I'm thinking about either Leaving the front alone ( which I think is too much tuck) or try a 5mm spacer. Opinions?

Depending on your offset, the fronts may need it. Im running classix's with a 10 in the rear and nothing upfront... It seems like I could run 3-5mm in the front and still not have too much rub, but they are 51et I think... It's only now that I'm low that they look like they could use it. Lol

Yeah, I am completely satisfied with the current setup. Fronts have nothing and the rears have 10mm. Looks perfect. I'm borrowing the spacers for now so looks like I need to buy a set!

So, I officially love working for Volkswagen. I sent out a few emails and as luck would have it, I received a .pdf copy of the original Monroney sticker for my GLI. This totally made my day. I sent it to Staples and had them print it out in it's original size (17"x11") and then I bought a frame for it. It's a nice keepsake for someone, like myself, that is semi-nostalgic.

Lamin-x. I had a sheet left over from when I did my MkII high beams. I disassembled the mirror housing and wrapped them, using a heat gun to help with the curves.

I have a platinum 2.5 WB in the burg and the AWE catback is at the top of my list. Yinz are east of here right? Wondering if you had any info on any tuning shops between Akron and Harrisburg that will do work. Considering the ecstuning chip at this time unless convinced otherwise.

The place is Bethlehem Steel in Bethlehem, Pa, which is just around the corner from me. I highly recommend the AWE catback. I'm right near Allentown, Pa, so yes. Not sure of anyone off hand between us that does tuning for 2.5. I'd have to do my homework first.

I believe the Bethlehem Steel Plant was in one of the Transformer Movies. Are you looking for the APR chip from ecs? Lehigh Valley is the other side of the State. AWE is in Willow Grove just north of Philadelphia. They also do GIAC chip at their location. CBtuning and Redline Speedworks are local shops, just not very local to you.

Received and installed the EuroJet electronic boost gauge yesterday and today. To this day, I don't know why EuroJet can't make instructions for their crap. I mean, the vent pod is easy and a boost tap is easy, but their wiring instructions might as well not exist. Oh well, at least I have access to VW wiring diagrams. For the price, I like it.



Also have all of the new grilles for the new bumper painted and just need to finish shaving the bumper so I can get it to paint...asap!
