Ordered a five panel wink mirror yesterday. Kind of an impulse buy but I like them and after riding in PSU's Honda, I really wanted one.

Just called and scheduled an appointment for tomorrow to get the GLI looked at. The car and MFD are not recognizing that front passenger door is open. Most likely needs a new harness...warranty.
Also, the hood. A little bit ago I discovered that it is cracked, rusting, and bubbling on the passenger side lip.
Here is the driver side, all smooth the way it should be:
Here is the passenger side, rusting and the crack runs the whole length of the hood. The bubbling starts around the halfway point:
So it gets dropped off tomorrow morning and hopefully gets taken care of.

hey dude, did you ever get the GLI dynode? i only got 219 hp and 250 tourqe on a mustang dyno and im wondering if thats were i should be at in normal circumstances![]()
#3596
Hey man. I did last year. It was on a DynoJet and they didn't hook up to my coil wires for a torque reading (I didn't know I had to have it ready and they said there was no time since it was public dyno day).
If I remember correctly, Mustang readings are usually low and DynoJet readings are usually high. That could be the answer to your numbers.
I would like to think that there is actually a 22 whp difference and it is due to the preventative maintenance I have performed since the engine was new. But it is probably the difference in dyno brands. I was at 50,000 miles (ish) when I did the pull and I am at 65,000 miles (ish) and wonder if the number are still the same.
Do it.
That covers my cost on a Votex valance.

okay good the guy said mustangs are accurate everything else reads high but watevs, im at 90k miles and i think i may have a small vacuum leak somewhere and im sure the carbon build up is substantial as well so i guess the numbers im putting up are pretty normal?
#3599
it was sweet tho there was awesome cars, 2 GT-Rs putting down 400 hp stock 717 hp evo couple supras great time even tho i was on the low end haha
#3600
I didn't realize your miles were that high too. That can come in to play as well. As far as carbon, it's inevitable with our engines. That's why I have SeaFoamed the car every oil change since the car's first oil change. Hopefully that has helped with the build-up.

I can imagine the money they have into it. I know the 4G63's can make close to 400 on a stock bottom end, but don't like it. A few buddies made that and more and both blew apart the stock bottom end. Also the evo trannies are a nightmare. Had one at the shop with nice bolts-ons blow the tranny apart, and a good used unit is $$$$$$
