We're fans of Automobile Magazine editor Ezra Dyer's work. He's a young and very creative automotive writer who helps sets the pace for the new generation of automotive writers of a quality more akin to a Peter Egan or Brock Yates. His quality does not go unnoticed, which is likely why Dyer is a regular contributor to publications such as the New York Times and GQ Magazine. Case in point, he's just published a piece in the New York Times and it's about one of our favorite cars... the Audi S4. Check it out after the jump.

Ezra Dyer: "But the navigation system (which includes a rearview camera and parking sensors) is a staggering $2,500. I’d rather buy a portable $80 GPS and hire a helicopter to follow me around and radio down when it’s all right to back up."

      hahaa! I lol'd.
