    FS - 1980 Diesel Pickup - 5 Speed

    Bought this truck in 2007 and restored it to very good condition. Now a daily driver. Has new injection pump and injectors, new 5 speed transmission, converted to R134 air conditioning which blows very cold, new glow plugs, new radiator, new coolant vessel, new master cylinder, new battery, new valve cover gasket, block heater (for cold desert winter mornings), rebuilt alternator, Corrado G60 15" wheels and new tires, new paint (Golf Mk IV/V Mojave Beige), Line-X bedliner, new taillights, new headliner, sliding rear window, new interior door panels, sheepskin seat covers (much cooler on hot days than stock vinyl seats, which are still in decent shape), Sony Xplod CD stereo w/ 4 speakers, GTI center console with voltmeter, oil pressure, and temp gauges. It also has a cap for the bed (white and not shown). Odometer reads 91K miles.

    Asking $5500, price is negotiable.

    This truck gets outstanding mileage as expected of the 1.6 diesel. Nice utility transportation and conversation starter and would make a great conversion to biodiesel or WVO. Looking to sell as we have a new baby and this little truck doesn't make the most practical family transportation.
