So, I decided to go for a drive today in sunny, Athens, Ohio because it was
finally over 70 degrees today. Anyways, I'm flying down the back roads
when I came around a bend to see a dust devil spinning across the road. I
grabbed my iPhone and snapped this pic JUST as it was beginning to
disappear (it was so much more noticeable about 5 seconds prior). I
somehow still managed to get it in the shot though. Enjoy!

No warp from acceleration ... I have a VR6, not a Lambo ... this was
bending of space-time from braking so hard ... Hawk HP+ FTW!

Yep ... the iPhone has some really, really crappy pics when it's being jostled.

I was expecting some sort of Duster / Demon hybrid of a car.

    Time for a new phone.

iLove iPhone pictures. I have some good ones that are split in the middle and flipped. Stupid thing.

We get some really good dust devils where I live because of all the open farmland being heated in the summer. I've had them knock over the barbeque and stuff before.

    Take that, lollipop man!

Yeah ... I thought this was pretty unusual because Athens is tucked
nicely in the hillbilly foothills of the Appalachian mountains ...

This dust devil appeared in what was probably 600 feet of open valley
    space between two large hills.

I've heard of the "Dirty South"; now it's moving north.
