found the GTI i spotted the other day on oneida. its at the same dealer i bought my gti from. dont know about the tails kinda ucky

but widebody eh not too bad

no clima control in the center console tho

What time does it start? There is an off chance that I'll actually be in GB visiting some friends so that might work out quite well.

Woot got the new Daily Driver to-be home today. Drove it home All it needed was a new ignition coil and a new rotor

I'm quite happy with my garage now, 2 sexy cars!

Looks good there Tyler. Atleast it was a fairly easy fix to get it running again. I'm assuming you used the Rocco tires, since the ones on there not the best.

I'd say you made an improvement from the Sable

Thanks, and yeah I used 1 rocco rim on the driver rear and 1 Borbet rim on the driver front.
Yeah this is a hell of an improvement from the Sable, this car is almost as fun as driving the VW but a hell of a lot faster at the moment
The Rocco's exhaust and suspension are going to have to wait a bit so I can get this integras maintenance up to par so when I sell my sable I know I can rely on the Teg if the rocco is ever down.

If it's this weekend I've got a Dyno day going on in Platteville. I posted it in the Midwest forum here. It was originally going to be for mostly TDI people, but a few people had to cancel, so I figured I would open it up to some of the Vortex members.

holy crap thats a far drive for a dyno day!!

yeah its this weekend on sunday. i dont know if im going myself. my cousin is getting married saturday in elkhart lake. i guess it all depends on how i feel the next morning

theres some guy with a 337 thats going and invited me and i was wondering if anybody else heard of anything. i might lean more towards it if so...

oh and tyler guitar hero is better than rock band

Since I went to Platteville I'm pretty used to the drive, so I don't mind it. Now with the TDI I actually like the road trip down there or a road trip anywhere.

Plus it's Mudfest weekend, so it promises to be a good time.

haha so i recieved a 92 saab 900s for free after i crashed my GTI. well after a year and a half i finally got the gti back on the road. well i decieded to scrap the saab and took it in today and got 300 bucks for it!!! i couldnt believe it! i was expecting maybe 150, but i was so stoked for getting 300 for a free car! haha i had to share!

Remember how I mentioned that there would be one more snow "storm" before the season was over. lol

Yeah I ended up plowing today, instead of doing spring clean ups.

It's funny how things work. I put the summer tires on and even looked at the forecast a week out and it all looked good, then this happens. Oh, well it's Wisconsin after all.

Yup I picked it up and it looks like the right part (there is another part # for the longer studs that are in the center of the valve cover)
Oh and believe me I dont ever plan on snapping any bolts in the first place, this was my first time ever

On a side note I had a fun time at the dyno day. Put down 151/260, so not too bad IMO.

I was hoping to be in the 165/270 range, so I'm fairly pleased with the results. Gives me a nice base line to know when I add PD150 injectors and a cam, what the improvement is over what I ran this past weekend.
