Yo guys we need to get a little gtg as soon as the weather is for sure to be nice. Kinda wanna meet more dubbers that are DD and are WTF low! There's always JDM's FNL(Friday night lights) we can meet up at, it's open to all cars.

I actually have something in the works for a Lower Standards GTG, I had a meeting today about it actually. I just have to nail down a date.

There is a local guy with a euro front & rear here in MKE(Blackghost2.0T). The rear euro looks good. As far as the bubble, I personally like them better than most mk4.

its okay... we don't want to have three cars with the same shoes rolling in the same caravan all the way to H20.

Yeah, I'm still partial to MK4's, being of the 80's I like sharper lines. However I do like the direction VW is going
with there newer cars. good clean lines blended in a nice aerodynamic curve...

    hmm...

So during a convo last weekend, I showed my g/f those wheels... she straight up started cracking up saying "Who in their right mind puts lambo wheels on their VW????? And leave the Lamborghini emblems on... G.H.E.T.T.O!"

Tell her that the OEM Huffs are inspired by these wheels and that a Lambo is a really nice VW! haha

I would put VW centers on them tho

I almost bought a red mk4 r32 from Concurs before I bought the touring - it was a little rough.
I agree that they are the best representation of a MK4 in the states but the GLI layout is and was way more practical. That video was ultra ultra ultra funny and makes a great point on how VW guys are definitely on a different planet at times.

The bigger question is why in our effort to be different (our cars being a personal expression) we end up being all the same?

lol funny I looked at that one also, yeah it was pretty rough had some ugly taillights on it roof was screwed up and so was the front bumper. That car sat on our lot for awhile too.
