    That is a 1.8 it probably has a trans out of like a fox or quantum that would be cool you could keep it going for ever just by switching out the new motor with a older one if it ever goes.Does it have all the new stuff like airbags, abs, traction control?

    No airbags,abs,traction control,This truck is the same as a fox 1.8

    I am still looking at it. still thinking about it, and still want it.

    VR Turbo? I thought that was your GTI....

    my plans were to transplant an MKV/MKVI 2.0L or 2,5L TDI into it...

    Yes, I still have the truck. It never sold, there were a few people interested but they never came up with the money. If somebody wants it, great, if not though I'm not in a hurry to sell. Now the truck is turbo, really fast compared to before. It's a turbo made in Brazil for this truck. I changed the wheels again, they're BBS RS 16" now. And I'm waiting for some new coilovers from Brazil. I'll post new pics later.

    Cant believe this isnt sold yet. I love those trucks, everytime I go to brazil to visit family, I see the sickest vws. My cousins caddy was so low we got stuck on a speed bump..

    Would love to see some pictures of what it looks like right now... How about the mileage, still 23k?
    I have the feeling this truck will be mine at the end.
    I would trade my R, but I had to refinance it and now there is 2 more years of payment...
