How the heck are you folks getting away running IRC at work? Any smart system admin would flag that as suspicious activity... if it isn't already blocked by a firewall.

it's too old for most sysadmins to care. Plus the Web client probably goes under the radar.
Plus, it's such a low bandwidth item anyway... also most of the guys in the chat are SysAdmins

Not a sys admin here, but the web client is so small that my IT guys don't care. If they did catch me, i'd show them what it is & they'd laugh( my IT director drives an R32 he'd prob ask for the link.

InfiniteEcho has agreed to set up a new server for us, which he's doing now. So I'll be updating the links at the top and letting everyone know when the changeover occurs.

there's the CBIRC web client I posted in the first post. Which I like more than Mibbit, personally
