Hey guys I have a quick question. I'm inquiring about a fuel pump replacement on my 95 VW golf CL (1.8L) and wanted to know if anyone has info on lowest prices for the part. I haven't ruled out the fuel pump relay yet.. but ill prepare myself for the worst!

    Thanks

    Joe

Hey as far as the fuel pump goes.. go used .. decently priced and it's an easy change .. can be done alone no problem probably about $100 or so for a used fuel pump assembly..!! New I bet is over $250.oo

Just an FYI tiexgrr you are incorrect ! The ABA 2.0L is the same as the VR not the 1.8L CL fuel pump ..

Edit as to not offend the OP.. some need to take things on here a lil less serious.. Yes directed at the OP ..

Omg I'm wrong!?! Wow, the vw god caught me on a whim! You don't need to be a jerk about it Mark.

This is yet another reason I hate the london "group" so much. Its nothing more then "Im better then you because I drive a rust bucket mk3 gti and you drive a CL"

I can't wait to see this group get locked, its truely only a matter of time. :thumb:

That would depend on what year of VR as well. The OBDII cars ran 3bar, the OBDI cars ran 4bar. Anyhow, I have a pump assembly complete sitting in a tank if you need it!
