spring is here, just putting a feeler out for a lil chicago gtg

lots of fun things to do

    talk about R's
    look at R's
    point at other peoples R's

bbq near a bunch of R's

have other people install bits in your R's

    anybody interested?
    everybody is welcome.

regarding the Leisure Suit .....if by "shop" you mean AutoJerks.. thats why.

dubwerks ( by no means related to AutoJerks ) is a haul
mobile one is closer, and they get my biz call jason (847) 724-7097
    http://www.mobileoneinc.com

the exhaust install is pretty simple and straightforward.

    25 mins and were done.

No I meant its at the dealer where I get all service done. I still really feel bad you had such a crap experience. Keep me posted on a GTG. I think I wanna exhaust the R to keep me interested until the Golf R hits.

I think a good spot for a GTG is winthrop harbors north point marina by the yacht club. there is a large beach, volly ball, lots of parking and stuff. there is a north and south beach. they import the sand and its open to the public.

    Any takers?

OK you have Mt. biking in there, so that is good, you will love trail riding, jibbing off rattlesnakes and dodging hawk attacks.

I can call off the Abe.

    Where when? Im in. Abe?
SKNKWRX you need to go buy a wrench and a screw driver.
Exhaust installs are really easy. That attitude isn't going to make it happen. So get ready to cough up the $ or put on the knee pads and do some neck exercises.

LOL too late I manned up and did it. Overcoming not just some rusty bolts but an Olympic level of laziness. Sounds money.

I'm totally down for a get together. And thats funny that you mentioned Winthrop Harbor / Northpoint Marina because I work there The cops and conservation police are a PAIN in the butt over there though and I have a feeling that a train of R's might bring a little bit of attention..

Edit: Although you could do it at the Tropics which is a little bar/restaurant right down by Skipperbuds (my work) and the public launch ramps. I know the owner..every like second Wednesday he has a classic car get together. I think maybe its about time that he gets shown that the Americans aren't the only ones who can make a sexy car.

Only problem i see with the Tropics is that the parking lot isn't really all that big and chances are it is going to be packed on a sunny day. South beach is closed I believe...Could get some really cool pictures in one of the newer parking lots, which is right in the middle between south and north beach, with all of the boats in the back ground.
