      Echo,

Congrats on the awesome built. You're a balling big time. Now you just have to do this like this guy http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...R32-Photoshoot.

If i remember correctly, you're in the process of doing a garage build too? You must have a great GF to let you spend all the time on the car and garage, Great find!

Lastly, as you may know with the FSI technology. It is very prone to carbon build-up, do you have a catch can install (not that it helps alot but a little)? What preventative measures are you considering?

This should get an honorable mention on front of vortex!

Not to knock that car, but this project is significantly more ground-breaking. We've KEPT FSI and all the other electronics that go along with the new MED9 ECU. They reused the 3.2L head which is cheating, imo. The conversion to the MED9 ECU rather than using the ME7 ECU is what is so ground-breaking here. Over 160 hours of work went into the harness to make it possible to use the new ECU. 650HP (@ the crank) HPA claims is going to be smitten by the power we're planning for my car. Again, not knocking it -- but it's not as impressive, when you break it down, as it seems. Honorable mention would be an insult to Tom's 650+ hours into this project. (If I'm brutally honest. lol)

Jeff and I were talking about that on the phone the other day. We'll see what kind of vacation time I have when that comes around. Thinking ToD is a must at the very least.

United Motorsport Booth imo. He can set it up right next to the fifteen52 booth and I can park right in the middle of the two or something.

Very nice. I am working on where I want to put gauges and this has opened up the possibilities, was thinking about Podi but that is sweet.

Also very nice build. Car must be a blast to drive.

So do you still have paddles on your steering wheel? I cant tell in the pictures. If so, I assume that they are just disconnected..

No, his upshift and downshift paddles are still there, they engage the guided missile system and the Flux Capacitor, respectively...

I do. We are deciding whether we're going to have them do something else (they're connected to the CAN-BUS) or swap in a GTI wheel.

Unfortunately Tom didn't have time to wire the missile launchers to the CAN-BUS, so that is out of the question, for now.

Sample exhaust clip is being uploaded to YouTube as we speak.

Even after the reveal, I gotta say this thread still excites me. Now who has started looking for 3.6's to swap in their rides?

      I know I'd love one in my MK4 R

You said it earlier this year when we chatted over IM that you had some stuff going on. Glad nothing got in your way.
