You going full R bumper? I was thinking of doing that mod but I think it requires cutting of the frame behind the US bumper right? How come you got the headlights out and are you selling the skirts?

I had the full R kit but sold it all....waiting for the actual R in December. Not sure about cutting but I had a new rebar just in case it was needed.

the euro GTI bumper is a direct fit so you may be correct about the R I'm just not sure.

Tinted LED tails or Cherry?

My rear reflectors are painted so it wouldn't need to match those. So conflicted

Tinted tails are in stock, cherry are due in April/May

I know black wheels on a cw are the typical choice, but wheels with too much detail loose the appeal in black. The kathroums in gloss look good, but I'd go silver or gun metal with anything else. IMO.

There are plenty of coilovers around.

I don't think I need/want coilovers right now and the VW Drivergear springs will be enough I think. I just need to get rid of the wheel gap.



If I end up not liking the drop, I'll upgrade

Just had some ST coilovers installed with H&R wheel spacers: 10mm front, 15mm rear

I plan to round out the stance with a set of CCW classics but not before I do a few engine mods
