Just reached 300 yards finally, driving. Was messin aroudn with soem drivers at Golf Galaxy on there simulator. 303 yards with a cleveland dst launcher. I usually average from 240-280. Got my club speed to 136mph
Just throwin that out there for some chatter

Wow that is awesome.... I wish I had 300 yards on my longball.
Last time out at the driving range my max was 250 and that wouldn't have made it in any fairway. At least my iron play makes up for my short drives quite well.

Not trying to rain on your parade...but 136 mph swing speed? Are you sure that wasn't your ball speed coming off the driver?
136 mph swing speed is Tiger Woods and Bubba Watson territory...

Also, 303 seems short for a 136mph swing speed
I'd be spraying that ball all over the freaking place with that swing speed!

136 mph swing speed?
Remember the person on here that supposedly was hitting 400 yard drives with crappy range balls, but wouldn't take anyone up on bets to prove it?

I still can't understand why people are so intent on cheating/lying about golf?!? But I played 9 last night and shot like ****. No way to lie about that, but when you just get there and they immediately put you on, it takes a couple holes just to get warmed up. Gay.

We used to have a golfpro on here as a member. I remember he posted all the courses he had played. It was one heck of a list.

Glad I'm not the only one willing to call BS on this guy. Stuff like that reminds me of all the trash talk that went on when I was still playing HS golf - 'oh yeah I average 280'. No you don't. The dude would step up to the tee and hit a duck hook about 50 yards into the trees.
Let your clubs do the talking, not your mouth

People lie about a lot of things. And why, I'm not sure. Probably because it makes them feel better about themselves.

I love golf! I hate golf! I can't wait to play and then wonder why I decided to play by the second hole....usually. It's definitely a love hate relationship I have with golf. I'm part of the "a bad day of golf is better than a good day at work" school of thought. Personal best is an 83 from the tips and average around the low 90's. Not great but good enough to have fun. Atlanta is awesome for golf!

Agreed with Atlanta for golf. I try and make it out every other week depending on rain and heat in the summer. Was at sugar loaf 2 weeks ago, first time out in 6 months. Shanked the crap out of my balls all day. Ended up with a 111. I should be back down to the low 90s a few more times out.

I hit the ball out of most ranges....atleast the ones by me....300 yards is the furthest one

Sure. You hit it out of the ranges. When the ball is still carrying 50 feet up in the air at the 300-yard mark. Right.

So you use a 50" driver shaft for your everyday driver? Are you trying-out for the Re/Max long distance driver's tour? Oh, and you should know that a low degree driver like that is not ideal for long-distance driving, you want to carry the ball as long as possible if you're going for that kind of distance. But you'd know that, right?
You just keep on spewing out more and more BS as you go along.

it's kinda funny, but I met MikeScott a year or two ago with his flat black passat, he's a big boy so I'll believe him that he's getting 300 on the Galaxy simulator.
I'm 6'5" 280 with a swing like Wei, long and fluid and I've got a swing speed around 100-105. On the Galaxy simulator I get 300 frequently, but on the course it's a totally different story!
Side not, I just refinished a Vockey 60 degree, came out great, I'll post pics shortly.
