They are the same design but 15x8 .... there was a big thread on them in the 4x100 classifieds ... they really weren't that expensive and look pretty sweet
Aaron and I were talking about them a while back... he would know

Not to really nit pick, but how much customization can you do that setup? I have had a forum sitting in waiting for few months, that you can use on iPhone/iTouch, Android, and BB's alike. Can customize it all you want to. Just asking, as I have never used/heard of that style.

I can do whatever I want to it...(still have a lot to do, but what site doesn't need work)
This should work on all mobile browsers, and if it doesn't, I'll have to get some other phones to do some development with.

I've done a decent amount so far, and still have a lot of things that I'd like to implement

You ever look into like phpBB and other's like that? I play around with stuff like this daily to keep me entertained and my learning curve up, plus it is nice too that I can host outta my hosue. But what i was talking about interfacing with the mobile phones was an app called tapatalk, it makes forum reading/posting much easier.

what makes yours different from mine? both look like a forum to me?

the one i'm using is written in php, and i've been modifying it to integrate more with the wiki. The forums are only going to be part of my site, not the entire thing.

I've used phpbb and was never a big fan, that is why i'm going with a wiki and extensions that will cater to what I want to do

taptalk could be something i look into eventually, but I need to get information up before I work on iphone/bb/droid integration. I've browsed my site on an iphone touch and it worked fine (imho).

Like i said i wasn't nit picking, i was just asking as i have never used the set-up that you are doing. I never said anything negative about it. I was just asking about different intergrations and other things like that. Trying to learn from someone else on what they are doing opposed to what i do. I understand that most smart phones have a full browser on them, and some people prefer to use that to view the full site instead of using the phone browser to view the mobile site. With the set up that you have done are there ways to make different skins for it, or is the (for lack of better terms) "plane jane" look is what your stuck with? Also with yours if you do keep up with it and it gets pretty big, how is the traffic going to affect the site? Also, what are your ideas to go about getting a easy to remember domain name for it so people can have something simple to associate it with?

its all good, i know no negative things were being said.
The interface is completely skinnable, but for the time being I have turned off all of the others. I'm gonna stick with the plane jane look until i get the functionality where I want it. For now what is setup works, bu there are a few links that need redirected. I'm currently studying for my last final, so today is kind of a lost cause for doing anythign to the site.
