So since the parking garage is getting busted/ filled with honda guys, and the target parking lot is getting kinda old. Im thinking Spring Meadows park in Boiling Springs for this thursday, its basically an open field, with gazebos and ****ters. Any other ideas?

Yeah the name of the Park is Spring Meadows Park, but thats pretty much useless because neither mapquest nor googlemaps knew where it was. So here is a map of where the park is, in relation to BS. The location is the green dot not the red star, so disregard that.

This looks like a decent spot. Are there some back roads for any good rolling shots near there?

I'm gonna try to tweak it a little today if I can. I kinda wanna wait till I get a skid plate (It may be a ***** piece but I will be a ***** with an oil pan HAHA) before I drop it anymore tho.

you'll probably need a frame notch before a skid plate if you're planning on going lower. besides, i wouldn't worry about your oil pan. i'd be more worried about your control arm knuckles, which isn't anything to worry about cause they can take a decent amount of abuse.

the best skid plate is a cautious/observant/good driver

exactly. and a skid plate is just for rubbing on stuff. they're not designed as a shield for the oil pan. it's a bad idea to run over large objects thinking the skid plate will save you. doing that will just end up with a broken/dented/bent skid plate plus a broken oil pan.

Im not sure whats going on this week/ if anything. A bunch of the guys that normally come out on thursdays are busy for like the next week. If anything gets planned post up here, cause Ill most likely be free.

Im redoing my headliner and pillars for a second time in black....this is the last time hopefully, the work is so tedious.

Ive heard if you don't use the 3m 90 series stuff it wont hold. I'll come out to the park thursday. I'm gonna bring something to grill and drink.someone should bring a camera theres a couple nice photo spots and deff some good rolling shot spots.

that's not necessarily true. i used 3m 90 on my headliner, but i didn't apply it correctly and now its sagging. i have a some friends that used 3m super 70 and it seems to be holding up better than the 90. it just all depends on how well you apply the adhesive and the circumstances. (i did mine in the dead of winter and the adhesive can said it should be used in temperatures above like 70 or something )

Yeah the first time I did mine I used to Super 70 and and a fairly thick fabric, and it started to sag in the rear (in the hatch where the bubbled part is) . I think the problem originally was the type of fabric, it was to thick and absorbed all of the adhesive. Also I left on the cushioning, so it didn't hold the fabric very well.

This time I'm using a lighter weight/ thinner fabric, and I pealed off the original cushioning for better contact. Also I'm using Loctite High Performance Spray Adhesive. I did some testing with it, and it seems to word 10x better then the previous products Iv used before.
