yeah man, im gonna start spreading the word to all the fellow dubbers i see on post and such. theres another mk5 bunny, and passed a mk2 cabrio all green. plus theres a couple of mk4 jettas with some surface mods - exhaust and wheels and lights. Dubbers, you arent alone out there!

picking up the Passat today. Gonna spend the weekend in Dallas with the family.

so the reason why i picked it up is because we traded both dubs in for a ****ty '10 Focus. WHy? to save over 300$ a month on car payments and insurance. LA rates are freaking retarded and i took a cut in BAH from Hood, and the wife doesnt work..... so now we are trying to get rid of the Focus for a B5-B6 wagon. really hated to see the bunny go, but there is a chick in Leesville that drives it now, rollin on gay walmart chrome caps and still has the bullet hole, lol.

yeah i know its been a while, but good thing is, i'm on the back straight away to come home. hopefully will have the passat rolling on bottlecaps with racelands. cant stand the 4x4 setup..
also saving for a snowboard carrier and base bars with a lock. first i gotta replace the widndshield cuz that badboy has tons of wiper rash and is peppered with rock chips. cant wait to get back and start working on it!

Well this is disappointing. On orders for polk in Apr, possibly sooner, depending on if i go TDY enroute. Any chances any guys still going to be around? I'll be around the area in Sept. to scope out some houses though.

I wont be back until sometime after thanksgiving. I am still here in AFG. It shouldnt be hard to miss me, as Im the only B4 Passat around. Plus, I'll most likely have dark pink rims and a TX RABBID europlate in the windshield.

Heh, yeah, you too. there arent many A4s there either. least, not that ive seen. I think there was a white one early B5... I work on the south end of post (when im there) in the 115th CSH Motor Pool. Just down the street from the Yarborough Mile and Combatives Pit/Track off Texas Ave.

aight aight... i know there has been a huge influx of ppl to Polk over the last 2 years. I picked up a new Mk6 TDI Jetta, its the Toffee Brown one with the RS4 reps. I still have the blue B4 TDI, its just in Dallas atm. Hope to bring it back and do werk to make it proper. Wife is out of the picture, so I dont ever have to worry about losing my dubs.

i put my parents up up in the super 8 for like 80 bucks, thru hotels.com or something, for the welcome home parade a few weeks ago. use the web, otherwise, if you go there in person its 90, even with a military discount. they were the cheapest nice hotel on the strip, though there are lesser quality establishments. super8 is like a year or 2 old and has free wifi and a decent bfast.

YEa, I was in toledo bend when it started. I'm either in a mk5 jetta. Just plain Jane, or a b5 a4 rs4 non-avant body. The jetta is gray and Audi is silver
