here is my 87 gti. my last build thread i was so indecisive of what i wanted to do so here is the straight up plan.

16v 5 speed running megasquirt as the ecu.
gloss black body with widebody and full shave
motor bay is shaved and painted green with black assets
    black interior with mk3 seats
    small bumpers
    corvette saw blades
    quad round light set up
    vmaxx suspension

and a whole lotta other stuff i will mention later

BUT LETS GET TO THE PICS

well this week im going to get my car back to my shop and let kameron (big brother) finish his motor bay.

im gonna paint the 16v and tranny and other misc motor parts and then stuff that bit*h back in it.

then itll go back to his shop again so i can finish my widebody and the rest of the body work.

my goal for the end of may will be to get the motor and tranny in and the rear of the car to be done.

heres when i did the wheel wells

heres the rebuilt motor. i need to paint it to match my monster energy scheme.

and this is when i first got the turd. it was a 8v big bumper with small doors.

im only at about 4k right now and its hard enought. im just thankfull that i have a bad ass shop at my house.

also id like to thank all my friends for the supplies and help.

thank you kameron for the motor and help and thank you esmir for the help with the motor bay.

there is gonna be quite a few others who are gonna help once it gets to the stage that they specialize in.

mega squirt is gonna be difficult since im not that good at wiring.

welp i decided to rip into my wiring harness tonight. got rid of probably a 100 wires that arnt going to get used. im about to buy a painless wiring kit and eliminate all this nonsense.

how is it that mega squirt can run a whole motor off of 12 wires? why didnt vw do that in the beginning.

well hopefully my megasquirt kit and harness come in this week so i can get a intake manifold and start the dam beast
