I fed it a couple posts out of one of the FAQs with the HTML->vB code setting
and it appears to do a decent job, although hard to know for sure with the original site gone.

Once everything is fixed, will my for sale threads show up properly? Check below for example:
The 4th app server is being installed, and APC PHP accelerators were installed on the servers to speed things up. Right now the forums are quite fast. We should be going live sometime tonight.
I had to switch the number of posts per page from 35 (as it was on zeroforum) down to 15, as having that many posts on a page was causing the quick reply box to slow down/freeze up.
Other than that, just a few tweaks are needed to the advertiser user groups (aka permissions) and then we should be all set.
Also, the existing posts were converted from ZF into vB using HTML code, so when HTML was disabled on the forums, all of the old posts displayed incorrectly. For the time being, until we can get these posts converted to BB code with a scrip, HTML will stay on.

could you make it so it doesnt sign me out every time I leave the page?

you fixed it.
Is it possible to make the forum look like zeroforum did? The title line for each thread is thick..
Also, where on zeroforum when you clicked on the username for the last person to reply to a thread, it would take you to the post they made in that thread. This just pops up with a box to view their profile/private message etc.
If your not logged in, on a forum, lets say.. mk3. After you log in, it brings you to the forum index.. Anyway to make it redirect you back to where ever you were?

You're killing the scene if you don't: PNWfahren
I still think you guys should make getting the old thread URLs and forum id references working again a higher priority.
The forums have serious long term memory loss right now, and that history represents the real inherent
value of the place, not the daily chatter. It doesn't do much good to make the FAQ and DIY threads all look
readable again, if every link they point to is non-functional.
I am just glad to see the Vortex back up and running.
Thanks to everyone who put in so much time and effort on this. I know it won't be perfect for a long time, but thanks for keeping this up so we have a place to commune and commiserate.
Make things smaller, I liked the nice compact look to ZF. I know things won't be exactly the same and you're probably already working on it.

Whats going to happen with all the old threads and the images posted? There is 10 years of history on Vortex and its all gone to **** without the photos in the threads!
I have a build thread that is complete junk now because none of the img links work and I can't even edit my original posts to change the code.
Theres got to be a way to fix this or the majority of archived and new posts with images are junk
custom avatars this time around?
Images in my old posts work fine... it seems to be a forum by forum basis (I've heard the Corrado forums don't work at all, just HTML code instead).
I've noticed it a few times this AM, might not be important, but sometimes if I refresh a page (my subscriptions most often) it'll load partway, then get cut off (and have just some HTML trialing off from where it stopped loading) and then it'll refresh itself again and work ok.
