My only suggestion would be buyer/seller feedback for the classifieds (like NASIOC). I know if anything it will be further down the road, but just throwing it out there. So far things are looking good, keep up the great work!

I think forums.vwvortex.com (and the other VMG sites) needs to be remedied soon. I'm hearing a lot of people complaining that they can't get on the forum... I told them to go in through the front door (vwvortex.com) to get to the new stuff.
a lot of people use bookmarks and history to get here (myself included)

So from what I read, all our watched/saved threads are gone?
Holy crap. Your talking over a million people just lost all thier saved threads and IM data.
Bernie needs to get dub-Nation up and going so he can swoop up the cats that flee.

I can't believe people are bitching so much! This is a FREE website.... VMG has never once asked for donations or anything, and alot of you still find the need to complain?
#89
Bitching and complaining is what the internet is for.
Probably a random glitch, but I just got booted out and had to relogin again, despite having had the "remember me" setting turned on.
Feature request (that was in old forum). To have the specific forum link available for each thread in the Subscribed List.
My old workflow was to create a bookmark to subscribed (watched) topics, bring it up, see if there were any new
updates to those threads, and if not, just click on the forum link to go to desired forum. Currently the subscribed list
has no link to any forum. You can't see where the threads came from without opening the thread. If there are no
updates, you're pretty much stuck. There isn't even a link to the top of the forum tree there.

How about a pull down scroll through the forums like there was at the bottom of the old forum...

Anthony - thanks for considering tweaks for us grumpy ungrateful masses.
A minor request - can we change quoted text to not be in italics? It makes large posts hard to read.

Ohhhh, Multi-quote is a nice feature!
Can't wait til its a bit easier on the eyes tho

There is going to be ALOT of people jumping ship.
think of all the users who used this forum as a secondary income by slanging parts and what not. all the old data is LOST with the new forum. Now multiply that by 10's of thousands.
people are going to have a stroke.

You can change the skin in the options somewhere. I saw it in there.
Personally I like NOT having all sorts of random/custom/crazy/blinky/flashy/annoying avatars.
Yeah, it would be nice if they could make the default for this to pop up (like zf did).
I agree with this and also think it would be a good idea to possibly make it so that this setting cannot be changed by users (like the old ZF) so that page breaks are always in the same place for everyone.

Advertisers will be dropping off as well, as the trafic just dropped by over 90%.

Any chance of either enabling Profile Pics or just removing them all together? If they are not enabled there is not point to having the genericpic in everyone's profile.
Minor complaint, obviously not a high priority issue.

I understand it was forced, due to negotions now working out. I would assume, that the new contractors wanted more money, or a longer contract, which VMG was not willing to pay or sign.
There would be no reason for the ZF administrators to completely shut them down. Positive income to Zero income doesn't make sense. Someone didn't agree on price/contract.
