The four-cylinder engine, in which the Audi valvelift system varies the lift of the exhaust valve, delivers 350 Nm (258.15 lb-ft) of torque to the crankshaft. Paired with a manual transmission and front-wheel drive, its engine accelerates the TT Coupé from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 6.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 245 km/h (152.24 mph). The two-liter consumes only 6.6 liters of fuel per 100 km (35.64 US mpg) in the EU cycle and emits 154 grams of CO2/km (247.84 g/mile). This represents an improvement of 1.1 liters per 100 km, or 14 percent, over the previous model engine.
