I can't. Gotta try and get some work done to make up for the HVAC repair I had to shell out for today.

Unless someone is paying for me to shoot their car there, then I'm out.

At least I'm not whoring out pictures of a MKV GLI anymore.

Anybody around here have experience with plastidip? I'm thinking an experiment is in order, and would like to see some results.

painted my E30 spoiler with it. Pretty good stuff, but Id make sure it fully cures before handling it.

    nothing up close

texture feels fairly soft. reminds me sort of mk2 bumpers but not as firm. might have something to do with the spoiler though

Definitely let it cure added make sure there it's no dust... I've got several trim pieces covered in it. Most turned out great.

I used it to re-paint my valence and bumper vents, I'm very happy with how it turned out.

I took off the Mahles and put on my Rials. The Mahles need to be restored. They're pretty rough.

I love how the CC thread had become the PNW BMW subforum.

    In other news:

I picked up this little E21 gem.

For the uninitiated, it's a 323i Baur. Pretty rare version of a rare car. And a miracle that I was able to find one.

Lots of vehicles being bought and sold lately!

Within the last month I have picked up a truck and sold a car and hope to get rid of another!
I really wish everyone would update their location in their profile!

Yeah, it took me forever to fall asleep last night, and I have my window open and a fan going full blast.

I think I'm starting to get a hang of my motion timelapse rig.

Now if only my newborn daughter would let me get out to shoot more than the inside of my house.

Thanks. There is, and lots of work to go along with it. I've estimated that it's about 1 hour of work per 1 sec of video betweens shooting, post production, editing and rendering. It takes up about 1 gig of storage space per second of final product.

    Totally worth it though.

Anybody else experience that awesome DOT handy work south bound 5 near 196th? I was in the right lane on grooved pavement and hit the transition back to the normal surface and damn near destroyed the caddy. Frame is slightly tweaked and drivers side headlight bucket is broken. And the car now has a shimmy... Woohoo
