Oh btw anyone know anything about Abbott's precision collision? On the same road as Twin City collision...I'm going to have my fenders pulled/front bumper smoothed and need a good body shop. The guy there gave me a reasonable quote, almost too good to be true- ?

in other news:
a good of mine is a salesman at a Ford Dealership in Indiana. They have a left over New (never titled) 2003 SVT Focus (with factory HID's) that they haven't sold in a year. I helped sell one to a friend of mine. he got a pretty Good deal at $14k but that was at the beginning of the summer. now they really want to move this car and will sell it for only $12,800. brand new full warranty and will also help buyer get financing. if anyone is in the market for a car let me know.

The Super Wal-Mart behind Mike's Express on 38. It was in the automotive aisle on the bottom shelf around the waxes/cleaning products. No price tag on the shelf, but it's a Coleman brand (yes, the same as the camping lanterns -- for the price, I don't care!). It's exactly $14 plus sales tax. not a good morning!!!
so i am taking Taylor to day care and all of a sudden i hear this clack'n noise, first it sounded like my belt was ripping. so i pulled over and check it out. my belt was fine. looked underneath the car and saw something hanging off the tire. so i turned the wheel in so get a better look the whole inner lip of my tire is shredding
so after spending all night trying to make a budget to that would get me through the month, and no i didn't budget for car service or car parts. i going to go broke by the second week of the month again

where is the cheapest place to get tires and an alignment?

I still like Dubber's for alignment (on Earl Ave. behind Automotive Imports and on the other side of a chainlink fence from the Ryan's Steakhouse on 52). For tires, I've seen some killer prices at http://www.edgeracing.com (limited selection, but drop-dead prices). I ordered my Azenis from Discount Tire Direct, though, because they could get them here faster.

All in all, if you're looking for a matching replacement, I'd vote for Tire Rack (you'll pay sales tax, but they've got an in-state warehouse) or Discount Tire (either direct or calling their northside Indy store). Otherwise, Edge Racing has killer prices, like I said.

i cannot afford an exact match now, plus it will take to long for them to get here. i really shouldn't be driving the car at all until i get some new tires. what tires should i get that are cost effective?

why not go get a used tire put on temporarily, i had a one mounted to my bugs spare tire rim for under $30, and it should hold out long enough to make a cost effective decision. or, what is the bolt pattern? do you know anyone with extra wheels tires in that pattern that would loan them to you?
