...I'll w#0r3 the same ol' pics illustrating my Dub history -- plus add a possible new chapter:How it all began (I got this one back in September '02):
Beginning of Chapter Two, fresh from the truck about 20 1/2 months ago:
Most current I have:
The obligatory "look-how-they're-crammed-in" pics:
And what has the potential to begin Dub Chapter Three, currently on eBay with an unknown reserve but looking very promising:
Happy 2,000th post to me!

The car's in Atlanta. It's a two-owner '87 Golf GT with 154,000 miles, Konis (dunno if they're Reds or Yellows), Neuspeed springs/sways/braces from the first owner, squeaky-clean interior, and a spare set of auto-x wheels/tires.Seller says everything works including A/C, and that he's recently replaced all the worn shifter bushings; only problem he mentions is "an oil leak at the idle shaft".
Depending on the price, I could really see rockin' that as a second daily-driver -- especially because I'm doing a little (ahem) jewelry-shopping, too.

It didn't show up real well, but the words "on eBay" above the pic are a link to the listing in case anyone feels like taking a look and offering any additional thoughts....

Depends on budget. Ideally, I'm hoping by the end of the year; otherwise, I hope no later than tax-refund time next year.

The complete pics of that Golf GT. Reserve wasn't met, but it's available for outright sale at $2,000. Whaddyall think?
Also, I've modified my pic w#0r3 post to add the dusk shot from the last GTG....

I like it.... its pretty sweet. Needs some big bumpers, single rounds, and a vr6![]()
Its really clean and would make a sweet ride! I wish my jetta was that straight and interior that clean..

Hey Jason, personally i think its too much... It has some nice mods, and seems to be in great shape, but its an 8v, not that that is bad, but I have seen some 16v goes for just a small amount more. Plus you have to factor in the cost of getting to Atlanta. Maybe talk the guy down the price of a plane ticket at least? Make sure to check KBB to see what you should expect to be paying.
#3674
After re-reading it, it sounds a little better, but I still think the price is high.Oh yeah, small bumpers own big bumpers
