Play around with air pressure and reducer temps. Its a fine line but when you find a combination you like stick with it and WRITE IT DOWN. Practice makes better in this situation as with all garage paint jobs you really cant keep one single setting. You have constantly changing variables like temp, humidity, air quality, dirt.

ya man we played around with it using 8-4-1 doubling up on it and then adding more reducer and gloss towards the final sprays so it would harden. we really tried to keep out all of the dirt and bugs but you know nothing works. i believe that the bugs are attracted to the smell of the paint. we had two blowers sucking out the excess paint fumes and it took most of the dirt with it. we also put up air filters over the windows to keep airflow and reduce all the bugs and dirt. we did the best we could and i think we did a pretty damn good job. but that is my opinion, and we all know that every one has their own opinion

I have wet-sanded and buffed a single stage car the same day it was painted, but that was after it came out of the booth
