I got more tires and rims than i need, but i don't know if i have anything in that lug pattern. Most of my 5 luggers are off American cars, mostly Ford... 4 3/4... whatever that equates to in mm?
Stock Ford Steelies... i got a set of old school 14" Cragers with polyglas tires (2 good, 2 bald), 2 wide steelies that as i recall came off a Cadillac, with the lugs way to the outside (good for keeping wider tires underneath the car & not sticking out of the wheel wells), and a set of wide aluminum turbine rims... 5 lug, but not sure of the pattern... came with some kind of adapters though... but those have that huge hole in the center... they're really for a jacked-up 4x4 with those monster hubs sticking out through the wheels.
So i don't imagine any of those will help you, but i'll keep you in mind if i see anything, or run into anything i forgot i had.![]()

Just a reminder for those who might be interested, that the Tyrods Swap meet is coming up this Sunday, April 15th.
I know its predominantly American Iron stuff, but you never know what you'll run into there.
Looks like it might be a bit rainy though, so you'll want to plan accordingly.![]()

Well... CVA Dust Off turned out to be a pretty decent show. It was a good mix of older & newer dubs (and even an Alfa Romeo GT4). Everything from shiney, perfect custom cars, to dented street beaters. One Corrado, 5 Sciroccos (which i think is the most i've ever seen at one show), a few rabbits, an older Jetta, and one of the nicest classic custom cabriolets i've ever seen.
And of course there was a good showing of bugs, buses, and vanagons. So, overall, you guys missed a pretty good show. Volksfest on Saturday sounded like it would be even better, but after finding out it was 6 hour drive, i said screw that...lol.![]()

i hear this is going on again, wont be able to make it this wednesday (going with brent to get his new bug) but next week ill be here

I was beginning to think this thread was dead...lol.
Been thinking its about time for the Wednesday shows to start... saw the Mad Max car out and about again... but haven't made it out there to check. Got several other things going right now & the shows just haven't been a priority for me lately. Only finally ran the Fox through the carwash just last week...lol. Thats the downside of the rack & light bar... its all got to be removed before & replaced after, or i have to wash the car by hand.
Skipped the Wasserworks show yesterday, even though it was pretty good last year. I noticed they opened it up to all imports as well, which most times turns the whole thing into a big cluster-f*** of dangerous stupidity.
Looks like it may be rainy for this week anyway.![]()

Was driving through downtown today, and was surprised to see a near perfect red Fox wagon driving down the street. Was getting ready to flash a "V" but as i looked, it turned out to be an older woman driver, who didn't seem to care anything about the fact that either of us were driving Foxes, so i didn't bother...lol. But it was cool to see one, and such a nice one at that.![]()

haha i got it to replace the mk2, prolly about 2weeks ago. Could you actually shoot me a text ive got some questions for you 413-949-6915

Wow... yeah thats kindof a game-ender for the Mk2. Shame... that was a pretty nice car.
I was headed up to Lowe's yesterday to look at mower blades, and on the way it occurred to me that it was Wednesday, and Dave's should be doing their show. So i cruised by to see what was going on, (this was about 7:15) and it was totally pitiful. There was one T-bucket roadster, and a newer pick-up with the hood up.

I didn't go yesterday because of the weather, first nice week and I'll be sure to be out there, they screwed it up saying at one point that they were only doing bike night and letting a bunch of new stock cars enter as show cars really killed it for them. Hopefully next week it'll be better
