Cool meeting everyone today

Wish i coulda made it out today- on the bright side i removed all the glass and finished gutting the shell of the rabbit today- tomarrow engine/trans come out and with a little luck the aba will be in a fresh painted bay by friday... I'm hoping to have it back together in time for the get together the weekend before sowo but we'll see...

It was good to finally come back out. It's been a while. I'm going to try to make it out more often now that it's warming up, and I have the spare cash to have some fun. Lots of new faces now.

hey this past sunday someone mentioned something about going to GMP and never go to eurowise.
i was reading reviews and there are a ton of happy customers about eurowise.
anyone have any experience with either one?

I work on all my own stuff but i've heard good and bad reviews about both. I'd price shop the two of them and go for the better deal. You could even shoot over to the shops and get to know some of the guys and make a decision from there.. Just my 2 cents.

This Sunday (May 6th) after we eat their will be a photo shoot at a couple of different places. I think we should start in the parking lot of BWW and then to the old Eastland mall to get started. I would plan on at least a couple of hours. If anyone wants to meet up prior to eating let me know. Ill be washing my car.

CCI is a huge meet up of different enthusiasts in Charlotte (mostly imports, I hear there are alot of hondas, toyotas, DSM, Nissan, etc).

Usually a large turnout, and with it getting warmer, and no rain tonight, there should be a lot of people turning up for it.

The place is packed at the moment. I drove by it after eating dinner with the family. The whole parking lot for the BBQ place that use to be next to BWW is full.

it was the biggest vw turn out today at CCI we had the best look line out there

Id say about 17 Vw and a handfull of Audi's tonight. It was a great turn out. A lot of new faces and hope to see them on Sunday!!!

Looks like a great thread. I'm in Rochester right now but I get back from college end of may. Back to Gastonia. Where do you guys meet? Any appreciation for the TDIs ? I wanted to get a job at vw south Charlotte as a lot attendant to save up for some rotiform BLQs this summer but I haven't heard back
