What flavor ice cream should I make for Sunday ladies???

The ladies get to pick the first batch, because its rude not to include them.

The folks in this thread are a club, actually. D.O.C (Dubbin' Outa Control). We meet every Sunday at the BW3 on South Independence. Pretty laid back crowd. No dues, no drama. No formalities, or hoops to jump through. No approval necessary from higher ups. Just come hang out. It's not really a club thing, it's a dub thing.

Nice, if we make it out, I'll definitely have to check it out,

Depending how much you want to spend on housing, there's lots on nice areas in Charlotte. You south park, dilworth, plaza, downtown, fifth ward. Just watch out for parts of the west and northeast
I'll definitely be down to check this out. Was actually looking at the Cars and Coffee pics from your meets.

Charlotte is a cool town, i've lived all over and decided to settle down here. Location depends what you look for in life.... good bars/restaurants/hipster scenes you wanna look up dillsworth, noda, or plaza midwood. Club scenes and stuff you wanna stay downtown. Other than that the best bet is to try and find a place with easy access to major roads (485/85/77/74/16/29)

Some guys in this forum are "DOC" but theres other clubs like "chapter 11" - being the largest organized one in charlotte.

The overall scene is not bad but for a city of this size could be larger for sure. If your into late model vw's then its a great scene. If your into the vintage watercooled stuff then your just like me- **** outta luck.. haha

Good luck with the move- if you need help movin or opinions on stuff just throw me a message.

Bars and Club thing is kinda in the past for me these days. Not that I don't indulge from time to time, but we're probably gonna do the family neighborhood thing. And, I guess I'm SOL, because I'm definitely a Old School Water Cooled guy. We'll have to start our own club!

      Guys,

Thanks for all the info I really appreciate it. We should know in the next few days if we're going to make the move. Hopefully, I'll get to meet you all soon!

If you don't mind living a little outside of charlotte, Indian Trail, Porter Ridge, Weddington, Waxhaw, and Matthews are all nice neighborhood oriented places to live.

Most of the active posters in here are people that frequently come to DOC meets, but it is still the Charlotte chat thread.

Gotcha, just making sure. I didn't wanna be posting all over another club's thread.
I've only managed to get down to buffalo wild wings once (due to the car being naked in the garage haha) but it was definetly a good time and i look to come by in a month or two once i have the time to finish the car - and hopefully find a ****ing mk1 5spd trans mount....

Anyone's welcome, just like on Sundays. This thread was started by the D.O.C founder in order to make contact with other dubbers. A lot of the people here are folks that attend on Sundays, but it's certainly not a requirement. We don't have any of those.

There are some air cooled clubs in Charlotte. The lady who started one of the club's son is a D.O.C attendee. He can probably fill anyone in.

      Also found this: http://www.monkeynutvw.com/links.html

But any dubber is welcome to come on Sundays. We are not restricting anything. I'd love to see some old school stuff.

The attitudes I've seen on this thread (by non bw3 attendees) is not necessary whatsoever. And it's the same attitude that confuses the idea of just dubs hanging out. The people who meet on Sundays are fond of both new and old dubs. No discrimination whatsoever. Please leave that type of talk elsewhere. This is just dub love. Old and new.

Yeah I said non bw3 attendees specifically. Just my 2 cents. Not starting anything but I felt it needs to be said.

See you guys tonight, hopefully. Got stuck with a ****ty shift on Sunday so I won't make it out then. Hope to see the rabbit on those wheels soon. And the panels look good on the GRVLMUNCHER!

      Later.

I think everyone is pretty chill about it, but it's good to know you've got our back
